Reflecting on the fence- my entry for theReflection Hunters Contest ~ Round 37

in Shadow Hunters2 years ago

Hi there to everyone out in the world of reflections.

I hope that you are all well and loving, living you life, looking everywhere to capture those scenes that most people just don't see.

For my entry, for the Reflection Hunters Contest ~ Round 37, so kindly created by @annephilbrick, I would like to share a shot that I got on my first day out of lockdown in a lovely bayside city of #geelong.

The scene is quite ironic really, as the scene depicts a fence- a border, a limitation not unlike the lockdown we have been though for the past 3 months and the past 2 years as the longest state/city in the world to be in lockdown...Anyway, someone is trying to lockdown that sea water, though the water around it can go through it, under, over and around it, so I hope that they are really not trying to contain the water..🤣. you cannot fence in sea water...

So I have been reflecting on the reason why, but maybe it not to hold the sea in, but the boats, the flotsam and the jetsam of life out.

@chocolatescorpi you took a lovely shot and 😂 i also think is impossible to fence a sea if they had used blocks to do the fencing maybe with time it might collapse but this kind of irons I don’t really know ooo but i think with time too the iron will get roasted and eventually cut and goes down but I think if it was to be this tick aluminum irons I think those ones can survive for longer time but with time too That might also go down 😂 water and fire are very powerful and destructive. however you’ve made a wonderful post pray you win.

Thank you hon, but lockdown the sea and tame it you can't.
(Well maybe with some seriously rich engineering company could...lol..)

Thank you I'm so glad that you liked it!

Hola, @chocolatescorpi, me encantó el reflejo con el que participas esta semana. Hermosa fotografía. Sí, es cierto y gracioso "you cannot fence in sea water..." Hermoso reflejo. Suerte en el concurso.

Muchas gracias y estoy muy contento de que hayas disfrutado de las fotos y hayas visto la ironía en la historia también. Espero que tengan una semana maravillosa y espero volver a hablar con ustedes.

Haha😁😁 they want to fence off the seawater, that's so ridiculous 😁😁😁
But I see in the photo you shared there, it's very nice, interesting between the fence and the water.

Yes, totally agree!

It was an interesting shot, where I posed an interesting question.
I think that the fence must be there because it was around a floating restaurant, so maybe to stop the debris from floating in and damaging underneath it....

yeah that makes a lot of sense

Yeah- it's the only thing that I can think of that makes sense anyway...
