I realized I'd never photographed the shadow of a bridge before, so I took advantage of the fact that I was in a friend's car and took this photo of the bridge's shadow projected on the ground.

It's a huge, long shadow. Now I understand why people who don't have a place to live often take shelter under bridges, as it provides protection from the sun and rain.

I also haven't thought of capturing a bridge's shadow and it does look beautiful. Equally guarantees a shield from adverse weather conditions.
