This paper figure is the most recent one I made, and when you take the photos, you can see that it creates a simple yet intriguing shadow on the surface, something that emerged spontaneously. Although this figure requires a great deal of skill to achieve each fold, the light makes its form appear clearer, more defined, and very realistic from a distance, giving it a unique effect. The dark shadow seems to accompany it, like a silent version of the paper figure, only present when the light hits it. While the paper remains firm, with each fold and corner, the shadow softens them and transforms them into a more uniform silhouette.
This effect makes the scene feel tranquil, almost as if the figure were still, observing the space around it, since if it moves, this great effect is lost. The shadow may be small, but it makes its presence felt, adding a touch of mystery and reminding us how something so simple can create such a pleasing and striking effect. Similarly, a paper figure can be used to capture shadows and make them unique.
Este figura de papel es la más reciente que hice y al tomar las fotos se puede notar que crea una sombra sencilla, pero curiosa sobre la superficie, algo que surgió de repente. Aunque esta figura, tiene un gran toque de dificultad para así lograr cada pliegue, con la luz que hace que su forma se vea más clara, definida y muy realista desde lejos, dándole un efecto único. La sombra al ser oscuro parece acompañarla, como si fuese una versión silenciosa de la figura de papel, que solo estará presente cada vez que la luz le pegue. Mientras que el papel se mantiene firme, con cada dobles y esquinas, la sombra los suaviza y los convierte en una silueta más uniforme.
Este efecto que se logra conseguir hace que la escena se sienta tranquila, casi como si la figura estuviera quieta, observando el espacio a su alrededor, ya que si se mueve se pierde ese gran efecto. La sombra puede ser pequeña, pero marca su presencia, la cual le añade un pequeño toque de misterio, recordándonos cómo algo tan simple puede crear un efecto tan agradable y llamativo, al igual una figura de papel nos sirve para cazar sombras y que sean únicas.
