i was out walking yesterday evening along the coast west of my home town Stavern. i have lived here for over 35 years but i had never explored the rocky fingers along the east side of this particular inlet called naverfjord. most of the snow we got in february has melted in this unusually early thaw but there is still ice here and there. i would be surprised if we have seen the last of winter so soon. luckily there was only a light breeze and the tide was low. these photos were taken minutes after sunset

i had taken quite a few scenes of the smooth rockfaces milled and carved by an ancient glacier during the last ice age and ran down my battery. i didn't have my backup battery with me so all these photos are taken with my CAT S41 phone. i am very pleased with the quality. i don't know if my lumix would have delivered a better image

Very nice reflections.

These are lovely. I'm always happily surprised by the quality of phone photos! The snow here has mostly melted too, but I expect winter will have an encore.
