the coast around here is mainly exposed rock that has been formed and polished by glaciers. it's a great place to wander around in different weather. there are lots of rainwater pools that form in the rain while some disappear during a dry spell the larger ones can remain all year. being on the coast it is usually windy. once in a while though the wind is light enough to get clear reflections on the pools. here are a few shots taken one evening a few weeks ago with my s22 phone.

i often wander around on the coastal rocks. they are a pleasure and a treasure. it's not often the wind is slack enough to get good reflections on the many pools but once in a while i lucky to be there when it happens
