Hello Reflection Hunters. This is my first post in this contest. I've missed the first 3 as I have been away for quite a bit taking care of some important matters. Anyway, I'm back (hopefully) and really glad I stumbled upon this contest intitiated by @annephilbrick and @melinda010100 and was excited. I remembered taking some pictures in our garden while watering the plants hoping to capture some shadows but coming up with reflections instead. The pool of water which formed on the cement, as I found out, did not make good shadows but a mirrored reflection of the trees above.
Picture below shows reflections from the water that formed on the cement surface after I watered the plants. To the left are leaves of our temple tree while on the right are leaves of a really tall rosal plant or Gardenia Jasminodes.
A closer view of the temple tree reflection.
A black and white pic of the temple tree.
The Rosal reflection closer up.
Once again, just like most of the shadow hunt contests I have joined earlier, I have a hard time choosing which photo to enter. I hope I make the right one. For this contest I am submitting picture number 2 as my entry.
Thank you for this contest which I hope will be my springboard for a more active Hive participation in the near future. Stay safe everyone and may you all have a blast of a weekend.
(All pictures are mine.)
Wonderful reflections! They are rather abstract photos and I like the one you entered! it's great to see that you are back. I have missed you!
Yes, I missed you too. I've decided to give at least an hour a day for Hive just so I won't be gone entirely and miss out on all these fun stuff. Glad to know you're still going strong on Hive and boy, your energy is so infectious.

tokens.ah the familiar dilemma of which photo to choose as the entry. they are all good but personally i would have chosen #3, but i'm not the judge and i'm not saying it's better, welcome to the contest and best of luck.

tokens.and thank you for the tokens
You are welcome.🙂
Thanks for your engagement of this post. I almost chose #3 but for one reason or another I opted for #2. Let's see what the judge's opinion will be.

thank you for the engagement recommendation. i believe that is a first for me
Awesome reflection photos!!! It looks like art! When other reflections are the exact copy of the object being reflected, yours is different! I like this one @gems.and.cookies!
I'm glad you like it. The water may have caused the distortion and reflected something more abstract. Thanks for visiting. Does make one's day or evening for that matter.
