Hello everyone. Welcome to Round 296 of the Show Me A Shadow Contest or SMASh Contest hosted by @melinda010100. Last August, my daughter and my grandson went on an island tour in the Island Garden of Samal City, a sizeable island across our city, Davao City, which is completely surrounded by water. Access to this city is only by barge or boat. Samal is famous for its numerous beach resorts visited the whole year round by tourists and Davao residents. There are also numerous coves and smaller islands along the coast which people go to for a swim and island hopping adventure. Riding on big motorized boats with outriggers on both sides, these island hoppers go from one island to another, enjoying the sea and the food and drinks on board the boats.
The photos below shows my grandson slowly going down the gangplank as they made a stop in one of the islands in Samal. My daughter noticed the shadows and started capturing them.
In the photo below my grandson is about to enter the water and enjoy the beach.
My grandson really enjoyed this day and luckily his mom took photos of this trip while SMAShing at the same time. For my entry to this round, I am submitting the photo below.
