Summer is here.
The summer sun is showing its power.
The trees that cannot withstand the summer sun are withering.
The natural lakes are also drying up.
Some big trees grow new leaves in summer.
Those big trees are the ones who can defy the summer sun.
How can we defy it?

Myanmar is at war.
The violent military dictatorship cannot provide electricity to the people.
People like me living in rural areas cannot use electricity to keep cool.

So, to defy the summer sun, we take shelter under the shade of trees during the day.
Living under the shade of trees outside the village is more comfortable.
At night, we only use hand-made fans to keep ourselves cool.

Today, I'm going to show you the shade trees that can protect us from the heat of the summer sun.
The shade of the big tamarind trees along the road is very cool.

နွေ‌သည်ကား ပီပီပြင်ပြင် ရှိလှချေပြီ။
နွေနေကတော့ သူ၏အစွမ်းကို ထုတ်ဖော်ပြသနေလေပြီ။
နွေနေ၏ ဒဏ်ကို မခံနိုင်သော သစ်ပင်တို့သည် ညှိုးခြောက်ကုန်ကြသည်။
သဘာဝရေကန်တို့သည်လည်း ခန်းခြောက်စပြုလာသည်။
အချို့သစ်ပင်ကြီးတွေကတော့ နွေမှာ ရွက်သစ်ဝေတတ်ကြသည်။
ထိုသစ်ပင်ကြီးတွေက နွေနေကို အံတုနိုင်သူများပါပေ။
ကျွန်တော်တို့ကတော့ သူ့ကို ဘယ်လို အံတုနိုင်လေမည်လဲ။

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသည်ကား စစ်မက်ဖြစ်ပွားနေသည်။
အကြမ်းဖက်စစ်အာဏာရှင်သည် ပြည်သူများကို လျှပ်စစ်မီး မှန်ကန်အောင် လုပ်ဆောင်မပေးနိုင်ပေ။
ကျွန်တော်ကဲ့သို့ ကျေးလက်ဒေသ၌ နေထိုင်သူများကား လျှပ်စစ်မီးကို အသုံးပြုကာ အေးမြအောင် မလုပ်ဆောင်နိုင်ပါ။

ဒီတော့လည်း နွေနေကို အံတုဖို့ နေ့လည်ခင်းမှာ သစ်ပင်အရိပ်အောက် ခိုလှုံကြရသည်။
ရွာအပြင်ဘက် အရိပ်ကောင်းသော သစ်ပင်အောက်မှာ နေထိုင်ရသည်မှာ အပူသက်သာသည်။
ညခင်းဘက်မှာတော့ လက်ဖြင့်ခပ်ရသော ယပ်တောင် ကိုသာ အသုံးပြုပြီး ချွေးတိတ်အောင် လုပ်ရသည်။

ဒီနေ့တော့ နွေနေ၏ အပူဒဏ်ကို ကာကွယ်နိုင်သည့် သစ်ပင်အရိပ်ကို ဖော်ပြပေးလိုက်ပါသည်။
လမ်းဘေးမှာရှိသော မန်ကျည်းပင်ကြီးများ၏ အရိပ်သည်ကား အေးမြလှပေသည်။
