Hello, Shadow Hunters! How was your day (night) so far? Everything going well? Today, I went through my archives and was able to hunt some memories of the not-so-distant past so I'm going to share them with you :)
We were in South China (Guangdong) during the final stint in my corporate career when the photos below were taken.
This first photo (my entry) was the hubby's shadow. We were at the parking space at the back of the office grounds catching the afternoon sunshine when I took the shot using my good old phone.
The silhouette looks like a sad young man with the weight of the world on his shoulders (drooping on the photo) and the head's down too :)
Here's another angle when he shifted his back and moved his hand on his knee. I don't remember why I took these shots, but I guess I was fascinated with the figures or silhouettes created.
And this last photo was one of the areas we passed by at times when we go around the neighborhood when we have free time.
It was unusual that when the shot was captured, there were only a few people.
Anyway, there are two kinds of shadows found in this first photo. The silhouettes of the trees that have been pruned and the shadows of the trimmed shrubs.
On a side note, I think the tree branches were pruned to reshape them or control their spread and growth especially that they were quite close to electrical lines and posts.
These photos reminded me of the days we spent in those areas during our stay. We have had fun and would be awesome to visit again when time and circumstances would allow it someday.
