Magandang buhay!
Hump day, middle of the month.
The morning was wet and gray, so I thought we wouldn't have sunshine, but I was glad when the sky cleared up around mid-afternoon and the sun peeked for about an hour or so. Thanks to that, the day became warmer.
My LilGuy was particularly grumpy. It might be because his front legs are still sore from the two needles that were inserted into them. The vet needed to draw his blood for a CBC check before his upcoming surgery. So yes, we have just been lazing indoors as usual. It was a lovely pause, and it felt like time had slowed down a bit.
Anyways, during a walk to the Ifugao Museum not so long ago, I captured some shadows and thought it's time to share them, in participation to Round 395 of the Show Me A Shadow (SMASh) initiative by Melinda.
And here was the hubby and I, plus a row of Manila palm trees ahead of us.

At 2:30 in the afternoon, the sun was bright and scorching hot, allowing a display of shadows along the way.
It's quite nice to see the layers of shadows in these photos. Obviously, I was drawn to the palm trees, and didn't really pay attention to the others when I took the snapshots.

The husband went ahead, giving me space to capture pictures in peace. Yet he was not fast enough and still got caught in some, lol

This shot was taken in haste, but I'm glad it still showed the row of shadows. See the flag in the distance? That was where we started walking.

And look at that! Even the young palm is proud of its shadows.

The flagpole, the railings, and plants along the narrower pathway to the main entrance of the museum also did not disappoint with their pretty cool shadows.

Walking past the entrance, these plants (and pole) shadows are seen too.

Taking a few more steps closer, the plant shadows appeared larger. I would have strolled further for more, but the hubby called me saying it was my turn to sign the visitor's logbook. It was time to enter the museum.

And that was my fun shadow hunt on such a lovely afternoon. As for the museum visit, I will be sharing about it on another day.
Thank you and here's to a fantabulous Wednesday!
All photos are mine. 15102025/20:20ph
