Hello, fellow shadow hunters. Thank you for the invitation from @melinda010100 to Shadow Hunters-Smash Contest-Raund 397.

I offer you the part of my body that has harbored the most light and shadow in my life.

The eye is not just an organ, but a camera carved by time, a sacred reservoir where light and shadow coexist in a fragile balance. Its pupil, a variable portal, dilates to drink the excess of day and contracts to preserve the penumbra.

In its dark depths, the iris treasures every glimmer and every shadow, blurring the boundaries between what is seen and what is remembered. Thus, every gaze is the revelation of an inner landscape where the dazzling and the dark merge, creating the only possible truth: that we are creatures forged as much by the radiance as by the shadow that persists within us.
