Entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh. ///The older the children, the more we believe in them // Children should be taught how to think, not what to think

in Shadow Hunters4 years ago

We went to a place with the family. I stayed in a residential hotel to spend the night in that place.

Then in the afternoon my son and daughter both started playing and running on the veranda of the hotel.
At that time they saw a dead grasshopper lying on the verandah of the hotel.

There is no end to their grief and suffering around that dead grasshopper.
There is a lot of discussion between the two brothers and sisters about how to bring the grasshopper back to life.

In the end, they took the bail from me, to keep the grasshopper alive.
This is exactly what I should do in their desperation.
I did not understand it myself.

I have put up pictures to make their longing audible. When they grow up, I will show them these pictures and tell them to be sympathetic towards helpless people and animals for the rest of their lives.
