What a great way to start the week by visiting this awesome ¨ShadowHuntersCommunity¨: Like every start of the week, we took the opportunity to visit the city streets to photograph shadows and participate in this wonderful ¨ShadowHunters-SMAShContest¨: What I love about this challenge is that it's the perfect excuse to get out of the house and spend quality time with the family while we hunt for shadow images.

Esta semana nuevamente he vuelto a insistir sobre la aprobación del estudio que tengo pendiente desde el mes de noviembre del año pasado. La última vez que pasé por aquí, los comprobantes estaban en el departamento de aprobación; esta semana el estudio regresó al área donde hacen las entregas para que uno pueda visitar al profesional para realizar el estudio, pero lo que sucede es que la responsable del área se tomó vacaciones de invierno y hay que esperar su regreso. En la oficina hay diez personas esperando el regreso del responsable para comenzar con la actividad; sin la presencia del jefe de área no se puede realizar nada. ¿Qué opinan de esto? Una tomada de pelo, ¿verdad?
This week I again insisted on the approval of the study I've had pending since November of last year. The last time I was here, the supporting documents were in the approval department; this week the study was returned to the area where they are submitted so that one can visit the professional to have the study done, but the problem is that the head of the area is on winter vacation and we have to wait for her return. There are ten people in the office waiting for the head of the area to return to begin the process; without the head of the area being present, nothing can be done. What do you think of this? A rip-off, right?

Así están las cosas por aquí: hemos escogido un mandatario que supuestamente iba a corregir estas cosas; sin embargo, estamos peor, dado que antes no se tardaban un año para autorizar un simple estudio, y mucho menos tantas personas en un área sin hacer nada durante el periodo vacacional de un responsable de área. Esto no es una queja, solo estoy haciendo un poco de catarsis para no terminar estresado.
This is how things are here: we elected a leader who was supposedly going to fix these things; however, we're worse off, since it didn't take a year to authorize a simple study before, much less so many people in one area doing nothing during the vacation period of an area manager. This isn't a complaint, I'm just venting a little so I don't end up stressed.

Como esta situación para mí es conocida, siempre voy preparado para hacer una caminata por el microcentro; es una manera de que no me afecte mucho emocionalmente este tipo de situaciones abusivas por las que tenemos que pasar cada vez que visitamos un lugar público a cargo de los "ministerios" del "gobierno". Viendo con ojos optimistas, no está nada mal, dado que aprovecho para hacer nuestras "cacerías" de "sombras".
Since this situation is familiar to me, I always go prepared for a walk around the city center; It's a way to avoid being too emotionally affected by these kinds of abusive situations we have to endure every time we visit a public place run by the "government" "ministries." Looking at it optimistically, it's not so bad, since I take advantage of the situation to do our "shadow hunting."

Siempre que visito un organismo público llevo mi ¨cámara¨ : porque sé de antemano lo que va a suceder, y seguro voy a tener que caminar bastante para equilibrar las emociones y así no regresar a casa estresado por la situación que estamos atravesando. Por eso digo que es genial tener este tipo de concursos, ya que son la excusa perfecta para salir de casa y hacer las cosas que más nos gustan, pasar tiempo en compañía de la familia.
Whenever I visit a public institution, I take my camera because I know beforehand what's going to happen, and I'm sure I'll have to walk around quite a bit to balance my emotions and not Returning home stressed because of the situation we're going through. That's why I say it's great to have these kinds of contests, since they're the perfect excuse to get out of the house and do the things we love most, like spending time with family.
