Si bien no hace mucho tiempo que hacemos este tipo de tomas fotográficas, ya que comenzamos cuando nuestra amiga @annephilbrick propuso este concurso, mi pasión por los reflejos comenzó hace más de cincuenta años cuando solo era un niño. Recuero pasar horas sentado en la arena de la playa de una laguna que teníamos cerca de casa, una peculiar distracción para un niño de esa edad, viendo las diferentes formas de las nubes que reflejaban en el agua, una divertida y refrescante manera de pasar las ¨tardes¨ ¨calurosas¨ del ¨verano¨

While we haven't been doing this kind of photography for a long time, having started when our friend @annephilbrick proposed this contest, my passion for reflections started over fifty years ago when I was just child. I remember spending hours sitting on the sand on the beach of a lagoon near our home, a peculiar distraction for a child of that age, watching the different shapes of the clouds reflect in the water, a fun and refreshing way to spend the evenings. Las fotografías de reflejos es una de las categorías que más han crecido en los últimos años, otras que se pueden destacar son las tomas ¨ojo¨ de ¨pez¨ o las tomas ¨macros¨. Hacer tomas de reflejos es otra actividad fotográfica que nos encanta hacer en familia, lamentablemente no tengo cerca de casa edificaciones que tengan sus fachadas espejadas, espejos de agua, o un parque automotor donde hacer este tipo de tomas.

Reflection photography is one of the categories that has grown the most in recent years, others that can be highlighted are "eye" shots of "fish" or "macro" shots. Taking reflection shots is another photographic activity that we love to do as a family, unfortunately I don't have buildings near my house that have mirrored facades, reflecting pools, or a car park where we can take this type of shot.
Por la misma razón, cuando visitamos la ciudad, aprovechamos para hacer ¨cacería¨ de ¨reflejos¨ a cuantos objetos nos obsequien sus reflexiones. En esta oportunidad nos enfocamos en las vidrieras de los comercios de la peatonal, y algunos frentes de edificios espejados.

Me es muy difícil no relacionar con mi niñez cuando hacemos tomas fotográficas de reflejos, si bien en ese tiempo no tomaba fotografías de esos eventos, mi pasión por ver las cosas de una manera diferente comenzó en aquella época. Nuestra ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ nos permitió ver la ciudad de una manera diferente.
