Hello Everyone!
This week’s shadow entry came from a simple moment during a sunny afternoon. I was walking when I noticed the shadow of a small plant cast perfectly on the ground. The light was strong and clear, making the shadow stand out sharply against the rough texture of the pavement.
At first, it was just an ordinary shadow of leaves—but when I looked closer, I realized it resembled something familiar. To me, it looked like a pinwheel, spinning freely under the sun. It’s funny how shadows can take on new forms when we use a little imagination. What was just a plant became something playful, something that reminded me of childhood days when pinwheels danced in the wind.
I took this photo because it felt like a reminder to slow down and appreciate small wonders. Sometimes beauty hides in plain sight—like this shadow that turned into a pinwheel in my eyes. It’s another simple yet meaningful find, and that’s what I love about joining the shadow contest each week. Every shadow has its own story, and this one brought a bit of joy and nostalgia to my day.
