I kept this shadow for almost a year -- I captured it last June, put to a cupboard to mature. Now its matured and turned into a 1st grade Shadow (TM). Hope you like it!

Theres a Dryad's Saddle (aka Pheasant's back) mushroom also present in the photo. (He have matured and was ready by the time we met, need not any extra hoarding).

BEER.I love the mushroom shadow. It looks like the mushroom grew some wings. I wonder if it will be able to mature more and surprise us with more shadows 🤔.
I don't know much about mushrooms but I do know one thing: they are delicious lol.
with love from cold cold Canada 🇨🇦
I can share with you +1 one more thing about mushrooms: tho not all of them are edible, you actually can eat every one -- but some of them, you are able to eat only once ;)
ps. the one I 've posted is a nice edible 'consolation' mushroom, pretty wild-spread and forayable. but should be harvested when young, before it become too old and rigid... actually, it is not the case of 'maturing' at all - I was mildly joking! Canada is amazing... Seattle?
Wow well now look at that. I have a new found interest in mushrooms. I wonder if I can find any here (I will google it).
I am nicely warned about them now 🤣. I will remind myself that not every mushroom can just be picked up, cooked and eaten unless I have a wish to go poof from the Earth.
Well you certainly got me there. I shall catch up to your sense of humor.

this mushroom, Dryads saddle - is edible (when young) and very wide-spread. I love shooting it, it can be very spectacular, you know.
