Libros. ¿Qué tan importantes son los libros? Desde hace mucho tiempo la humanidad los ha usado para trasmitir conocimiento de una generación a otra a través de imágenes y textos. Se podría decir que gracias a la invesión de la escritura y los propios libros en sí se ha logrando acumular tanto conocimiento y avanzado tanto en cuanto a tecnología se refiere; sin embargo, los libros no siempre se toman en cuenta o no se les da el valor que deberían tener, esto es algo que se evidencia hoy en día más que nunca.
Desde pequeño siempre he sentido afinidad con la lectura y la escritura, porque es eso a través de lo cual podemos usar el imaginativo para viajar a mundos que no seríamos capaces de vivir en nuestra vida o el mundo real. En lo personal me encantan los libros o historias de ficción, fantasía, drama y hasta misterio.
Recuerdo que antes leía muchos cuentos de terror también, como los cuentos de lovecraft o las novelas de stephen king, pero hoy en día no es algo que haga; de hecho, hoy en mi colección de libros no tengo ningun libro de terror ni misterio. Por otra parte, sí que tengo una variada colección de libros de distintos géneros, por eso me gustaría compartir con ustedes unos cuantos.
Anteriormente compartí cuatro de los libros más valiosos que tengo, desde un punto de vista sentimental.

Otro libro del que les he hablado anteriormente es uno titulado "Cuarenta cuentos" de Arturo Uslar Pietri. Específicamente no hablé del libro en sí, sino de uno de los cuentos, Barrabas.
He leído varios de estos cuentos y aunque son cuentos, no son precisamente cuentos infantiles en sí, por ello no se pude considerar este libro para leerselos a los niños para que tengan dulces sueños.

Es uno de los libros más gastados que tengo porque realmente le he dado uso pues de vez en cuando me siento a releer sus historias, pues ya las he leido todas.
Dentro de mi colecci[on tengo otros liubros de Paulo Cohelho y otras novelas variadas de distintos autores; coleciones de Editorial Planeta y Alfaguara respectivamente.
Siendo honesto, no he leído ninguno de esa colección. El único que he comenzado a leer es uno titulado el inútil de la familia.
Es muy interesante y ciertamente me ha atrapado. El mismo libro en su cubierta posterior cuenta lo siguiente:
Nos permiten asistir al transcurrir de la vida accidentada y aventurera de quien, por su inconformismo y su escandalosa rebeldía social, se conviertiera en una leyenda viviente: Joaquín Edwards Bello.
Es el primero que estoy leyendo de estas dos colecciones que tengo abandonadas y espero poder continuar con estas pues es una manera de incluso encontrar inspiración para mis propios escritos.
Cabe destacar, que cada libro nos muestra un arte en la portada que refleja un poco de lo que trata la novelas:
Otra pequeña colección que tengo son un trio de libros de Isabel Allende que tampoco he leído. Llegaron a mis manos hace poco y estan en cola para leerlos. Sin embargo, sí me parece interesante de lo que trata cada libro.
Resulta interesante las breves citas que la autora coloca al comienzo de cada libro. Guardan mucha relación cada cita con el tema de la novela; Mi país inventado, por ejemplo, tiene mucho que ver con la autora y su patria, pues a través de recuerdos y vivencias cuenta dos tramas, la que la envuelve a sí misma y al chile de aquellos años.
Otro que comienza de manera muy emotiva, con unas breves palabras de la autora, es Paula, que es el libro que más sentimientos envuelve de Isabel Allende, pues es una historia familiar escrita durante el tiempo en el que su hija agonizaba. Una historia que te hará que las emociones afloren y no dejará indiferente al lector.
Aunque solo he leído unas cuántas páginas, siento que es una novela escrita con el corazón en la mano.
Por otra parte, también me gustaría compartir tres libros que forman parte de una colección que me quedó de mi tío, una colección que venía en el diario El Nacional.
Dos de estos libros los he leído ya, tal son el caso de "Los viajes de Gulliver" y "Robinson Crusoe"; "Crimen y Castigo", por otra parte, lo estoy comenzando a leer.
Como comenté al comienzo, me encanta la ficción y la fantasía; Los viajes de Gulliver es un libro que me fascina por esto, además del toque de aventura que tiene.
Cuando de lee la novela de manera vívida, se puede imaginar al personaje principal durante el hundimiento de su barco y la sorpresa y el desconcierto que pudo haber sentido al encontrarse con estos pequeños hombrecillos que se encuentra en esta isla llamada Liliput.
Debo recalcar que algunas cosas no las entendían y el hecho de que la historia tenga notas descriptivas sobre palabras, nombres entre otras cosas, algo que ayuda bastante a enriquecer la historia, pues entendemos mejor lo que se está narrando.
¿Qué puedo decir de Robinson Crusoe que ya no se haya dicho en infinidad de blog, videos y páginas de internet? Es una historia que me encanta, me la he leído un par de veces completa y en cada ocasión encuentro pequeño detalles que se me habían escapado.
Me llama la atención, por ejemplo, lo descriptivo que es con ciertas cosas que sucedían en aquellos años, temas como la esclavitud, la piratería entre otros temas similares.
De resto, es una gran aventura que vale la pena leer atentamente. Se disfruta mucho la lectura; el momento tan agónico del primer naufrágio, cuando está atrapado entre las olas intentando llegar a orillas de la isla; cuando logra atinarle un disparo a un enorme felino que vio en medio de a selva; cuando decíde embarcarse en otro viaje después de haber lograr tener una plantación bastante próspera.
Todo nos hace pensar que el hombre se buscó lo que le pasó, pero sin duda es muy disfrutable la manera en cómo se aferra a la vida y cómo va planeando todo durante su estadía en aquella isla...
Sin dudas una novela que, en mi opinión, todo el que le gusta este género de aventura debería leer al menos una vez en su vida.
Crimen y castigo, por otra parte, estoy comenzando a leerlo.
No entiendo mucho su contexto, pero entiendo que es Rusia. El joven protagonista es un joven con evidente carencias económicas en un ambiente con condiciones igual de precarias y difíciles.
Me encanta la forma en que se narra la historia y la gran cantidad de detalles que describe la novela de los lugares y todo lo que rodea al protagonista, además de los actores que forman parte de cada escena.
Una novela que, tras leerla, nos puede dar una idea de cómo se debe desarrollar la descripción los escenarios de nuestros personajes, en caso de que seamos escritores principiantes e incluso experimentados...
Bien amigos, esto ha sido todo por ahora. Como dije al comienzo, la lectura es algo que aporta mucho a nuestra vida pues enriquece mucho nuestro conocimiento, nuestra imaginación y nuestro vocabulario.

Books: How important are books? For a long time mankind has used them to transmit knowledge from one generation to another through images and texts. It could be said that thanks to the invention of writing and the books themselves we have been able to accumulate so much knowledge and advanced so much in terms of technology; however, books are not always taken into account or are not given the value they should have, this is something that is evident today more than ever.
Since I was a child I have always felt affinity with reading and writing, because it is that through which we can use the imaginative to travel to worlds that we would not be able to live in our life or the real world. Personally I love books or stories of fiction, fantasy, drama and even mystery.
I remember I used to read a lot of horror stories too, like lovecraft stories or stephen king novels, but nowadays it's not something I do; in fact, today in my book collection I don't have any horror or mystery books. On the other hand, I do have a varied collection of books of different genres, so I would like to share with you a few of them.

Another book I have told you about before is one entitled "Cuarenta cuentos" by Arturo Uslar Pietri. Specifically I did not talk about the book itself, but about one of the stories, Barrabas.
I have read several of these stories and although they are stories, they are not exactly children's stories per se, so I could not consider this book to be read to children so that they have sweet dreams.

Within my collection I have other books by Paulo Cohelho and other varied novels by different authors; collections of Editorial Planeta and Alfaguara respectively.
Being honest, I haven't read any of that collection. The only one I've started reading is one titled el inútil de la familia.
It is very interesting and certainly grabbed me. The book itself on its back cover tells the following:
We are allowed to assist to the passing of the eventful and adventurous life of the man who, for his nonconformism and his scandalous social rebelliousness, became a living legend: Joaquín Edwards Bello.
It is the first one I am reading of these two collections that I have abandoned and I hope to continue with these as it is a way to even find inspiration for my own writings.
It is worth noting, that each book shows us cover art that reflects a bit of what the novels are about:
Another small collection I have is a trio of books by Isabel Allende that I haven't read either. They came into my hands recently and are in the queue to read them. However, I do find it interesting what each book is about.
Interesting are the short quotes that the author places at the beginning of each book. Each quote is closely related to the theme of the novel; My invented country, for example, has a lot to do with the author and her homeland, because through memories and experiences she tells two plots, the one that involves herself and the Chile of those years.
Another one that begins in a very emotional way, with a few brief words from the author, is Paula, which is the book that involves the most feelings from Isabel Allende, as it is a family story written during the time when her daughter was dying. A story that will make your emotions come to the surface and will not leave the reader indifferent.
Although I have only read a few pages, I feel it is a novel written with my heart in my hand.
On the other hand, I would also like to share three books that are part of a collection left to me by my uncle, a collection that came in the newspaper El Nacional.
Two of these books I have already read, such is the case of "Gulliver's Travels" and "Robinson Crusoe"; "Crime and Punishment", on the other hand, I am just starting to read.
As I mentioned at the beginning, I love fiction and fantasy; Gulliver's Travels is a book that fascinates me because of this, in addition to the touch of adventure it has.
When you read the novel vividly, you can imagine the main character during the sinking of his ship and the surprise and bewilderment he might have felt when he encountered these little men on this island called Lilliput.
I must emphasize that some things I did not understand and the fact that the story has descriptive notes about words, names and other things, something that helps to enrich the story, because we understand better what is being narrated.
What can I say about Robinson Crusoe that hasn't already been said in countless blogs, videos and websites? It is a story that I love, I have read it a couple of times in its entirety and each time I find little details that had escaped me.
I am struck by, for example, how descriptive he is with certain things that happened in those years, issues such as slavery, piracy among other similar issues.
Otherwise, it is a great adventure that is worth reading carefully. It is a very enjoyable read; the agonizing moment of the first naufrágio, when he is trapped between the waves trying to reach the shores of the island; when he manages to shoot a huge feline he saw in the middle of the jungle; when he decides to embark on another journey after having managed to have a fairly prosperous plantation.
Everything makes us think that the man asked for what happened to him, but it is certainly very enjoyable the way he clings to life and how he plans everything during his stay in that island...
Undoubtedly a novel that, in my opinion, everyone who likes this genre of adventure should read at least once in his life.
Crime and Punishment, on the other hand, I'm starting to read it.
I don't understand much of its context, but I understand that it is Russia. The young protagonist is a young man with obvious economic deprivation in an environment with equally precarious and difficult conditions.
I love the way the story is told and how much detail the novel describes the places and everything surrounding the protagonist, as well as the actors who are part of each scene.
A novel that, after reading it, can give us an idea of how to develop the description of the scenarios of our characters, in case we are beginners or even experienced writers...
Well friends, that's all for now. As I said at the beginning, reading is something that brings a lot to our lives because it enriches our knowledge, our imagination and our vocabulary.

Los libros forman parte integral de la vida, sin embargo actualmente mucha gente se encuentra poco atraída a la lectura por toda las "competencia" que hay, redes sociales, video juegos, etc.
Interesante colección de libros.
Es cierto. Aún recuerdo cuando tocaba ir a la biblioteca a investigar para hacer las tareas, eran otros tiempos...
