Precaución — Relato original

in Literatos2 years ago (edited)

Mejor no me acerco y sigo mi camino.

Precaution — Original Story

It was a walk through a park of very tidy and green pastures, large stones, abundant bushes and beautiful scenery. The vegetation was very thick: very tall and dense trees. The atmosphere was very humid. I missed the presence of any animal. This absence made everything so empty.

Finally, a kind of ostrich kangaroo appeared hidden among the stones: What is that? I'd better stay away and go on my way. Where am I going to go with this storm coming? Shall I go up this hill or into that ruined house? In that house I can take shelter better.

It was raining heavily. It wasn't long before the water rose to a higher level. I could feel it on my shoes. The mud remained below. I knew I had to move because everything there felt very unsafe. Suddenly thunder began to strike and it was as if an ultra grave death trap had been triggered. Thunderbolts were falling too close to the body. It was pure electricity and light in strands falling vertically. Then I was overcome with a chilling terror and caution not to be touched by those lightning bolts from a storm that became really aggressive. It was a matter of life and death.

I saw in a clear way how the thin and luminous rays full of energy and destruction fell on the cold water but I was not touched by them. The wind and rain were destroying the scenery of the house, the roof was blown off, only a couple of walls were left where I could hold on to wait for the outcome.

Then suddenly the opportunity to save myself arose: Save me? How could I trust that tumult that had unexpectedly arrived?. They were strange beings and their forms were not at all noticeable. They were in wagons, hooded and in a hurry to get out of there: we had to move urgently! But where are we going? Who are they? In spite of my doubts, I decided to get on one of the carts. They were carrying many things in their carts covered with dark cloaks. The rain did not stop and the march began. It had to be fast! And a road was already beginning to appear in front of them. Whoever was driving the caravan showed what he looked like: he was a bear-like beast. In spite of this, I did not hesitate in my decision. The caravan advanced at great speed and we entered this road to nowhere.
