Caro, as her mother called her out of affection, Carolina was an 8 year old girl. Patricia became pregnant at the age of 14. When her parents found out about her pregnancy, they threw her out of the house and since then she has been fending for herself and everything she has done for herself and her daughter. But for Patricia things were not so easy, because due to her age, no one would give her a job to help her and her daughter survive. There were days when Patricia and Caro had to sleep on the street because the money was not enough to pay rent. On other days Patricia would not eat and she would do it so that her beloved daughter would not lack her milk.

When Carolina was a baby, Patricia noticed that her behavior was something strange, something strange. Patricia saw how her daughter would smile by herself and play as if someone was there with her, I didn't think much of it at first, since I had heard that the Angels pouted and played with the babies. When Patricia was finally able to get a job that would provide the money they needed to live well with their daughter, they were able to move into a house with which they would be paying for installments that in the end that beautiful house she would leave to her daughter. And as the days went by, she was doing very well, better than ever.

Carolina was often left alone in the house at night while her mother went out to work. Patricia never wanted to tell her daughter what she did for a living, much less explain to her why she had to go out at night and leave her alone; for her it was too embarrassing for her and a little girl like Carolina did not have to know the degradations that human beings suffer.

It was one of those many nights, when the girl could see something that caught her attention, it was a very tall man who wore a black cloak, with a hood which made it very difficult to see your face, you could only see his hands what called more attention was that his hands could be seen as if it were esq ueleticas. But that didn't scare Carolina at all since she could see those kinds of spirits every day. When her mother arrived she told Patricia what she saw, of course Patricia didn't believe her, she thought it was just a product of her daughter's imagination.

The next night, the mysterious man with the black cloak showed up again. This time Carolina took the initiative and approached him. She did it at a prudent distance, a distance that she considered to be adequate, she stayed there for a few seconds and asked him.

What do you need? What are you doing here? Of course the girl with that sweet innocence she was only looking for a simple conversation with that strange man, she was telling him about the life she had lived with her mother and how much she loved her. But she saw that the man did not utter a single word and so three days went by. Carolina, even though she knew that her mother would not believe her, kept telling her about the visit of that mysterious man. This led Patricia to think that it could be a living being that wanted to harm her little daughter.
That was when she felt a great fear that something could happen to her daughter, so she stayed one night with her daughter to see and find out what was happening. At nightfall Patricia left the house as she did every night when she went to work.

But she didn't go to work, she stayed in a corner of the yard, hidden, waiting for the mysterious man her daughter talked so much about to appear. She was like that for almost three hours and nothing happened, she decided to go and look at Carolina through one of the windows, she could see that the girl was sitting in one of the armchairs and it seemed that she was talking to someone. Patricia then quietly moved closer to the window to get a better view and get a good look at who her daughter was talking to.

But to her surprise she saw that Carolina was alone, apparently she was only talking to someone who was only in her imagination. That was when Patricia remembered that her daughter had told her since she was a baby that she could see spirits..... Or maybe it was just a figment of her imagination.

But as Patricia with this kind of subject was a little skeptical, so she only thought that her little daughter had a great imagination, again began again the routine of both of them. And when night fell, Carolina found herself in the company of someone she already considered a friend, she was sitting in an armchair, talking to him about each and every one of the pranks she had done during the day. However, that mysterious man never uttered a single word, he only seemed to listen to her very attentively.
Until the day came when that mysterious man finally stopped to tell her all the pranks she had done during the day.

Saludos.
