EL BURRO Y EL LENGÜILARGA
Era un burro un poco anciano,
un poco pobre jumento
flaco, triste y macilento
a quien su dueño tirano
no daba libre un momento.
A diario sobre la silla
pesada carga montaba,
y la pobre bestia arqueaba
las cuatro flacas canillas
por lo mucho que pesaba.
Por el poco rendimiento
con que andaba el animal
lo trataba siempre mal
reclamando que era lento
que era flojo y criminal.
Un sujeto lengüilarga
que con ofensas se expresa
actuando con ligereza,
pues quien no lleva la carga
le parece que no pesa.
