Hojas secas
Las hojas secas crujen bajo mis pies
mientras camino por el campo;
su aire frío tiembla y me hace temblar,
pero sigo adelante, como las hojas
que desprendidas de sus ramas
avanzan sin miedo hasta besar la tierra.
Las hojas secas anuncian el cambio,
la renovación, nos recuerdan que todo pasa,
que la vida es un río que fluye.
Cuando veas las hojas secas,
recuerda quién eres, a dónde te diriges,
qué viento te mueve;
porque como ellas,
tú también eres parte del movimiento divino.
Dry leaves
Dry leaves crunch under my feet
as I walk through the field
their cold air makes me shiver and tremble,
but I go on, like the leaves
that, detached from their branches
advance without fear until they kiss the earth.
The dry leaves announce change,
renewal, they remind us that everything passes,
that life is a river that flows.
When you see the dry leaves
remember who you are, where you are going,
what wind moves you;
because like them,
you too are part of the divine movement.
