Hey there, all you cool cats and kittens! Talk about a sweaty affair! 🌡️ My birthday slapped me right in the face with my age and, oh boy, seems like this old machine, aka my body, does in fact need a thing called sleep. Especially after a crash. Or was it two? Oops... Maybe a few more than that. 😜 And let’s not even mention the sweat and tears setting up "Ecency Vision" as the Hive Frontend for our rockin’ @slothbuzz Community. I goofed up in more places than a squirrel loses his nuts until, alas, I waved the white flag today and decided to take a little detour.
Our goal? To use "Ecency Vision" as the backbone for our bustling community. The frontend? Stellar! You can now upload #3Speak videos directly while creating posts (yes, even through the Sloth.Buzz frontend), and, drum roll, the new Decks! It's like Tweetdeck for the Hive Blockchain. Mind = blown. 🤯 Both work online, but they play hard to get on my local build. Perhaps they're just shy? On our Ubuntu server, however, we're just stumbling around, tripping over the bare installation. And boy, we do need that for our future Docker adventures!
I'll be ringing up the @Ecency squad soon to get the deets on the server requirements. First up, the recommended nodejs ^12 is a no-go since Yarn's already flirting with a higher version. And the Docker Image? It’s playing hard to get with some version 16, only to throw a tantrum with type errors in the Electron Module. At my wit's end here, folks! 😩
Right now, we have a doppelgänger situation: Sloth.Buzz is looking like Ecency's twin, but rocking its own stylish logo. In the coming days, I’m committed to getting the original version up and dancing, and then make the big switch. Oh, and there's some spicy new logos on the horizon, courtesy of my super-talented bro!
Time to dive back into the chaos. Back to the grind! 💪🚀🎉
