Hey, I’m new but told this is the place to spread the word on my work as you guys are the audience I need.

Wrote a book deemed too controversial by publishers but is well received by readers. Dealing with big tech, climate change & AI. Speculative zeitgeist fiction.

I’m building readers by dropping weekly chapters on substack for free.
To me it’s a great story & important to get out there. It’s relevant. Readers love it.

Chapter 4 out today but all chapters are live.

Let me know what you think!?

Cheers

Hey Casper! the premise of the story sounds promising. It would be awesome if you do an introduction post. As a sample of what an intro post is, you can refer to this intro post for reference:

Keeping Up With the Buzz - My Introduction to the Hive Community

There's no specific format on how you do your intro post, but there is some suggested content that we would love to see in your post. Information like who are you and where you're from, how did you discover Hive or who invited you, what types of content you want to see here and the types that you want to produce, and what are your expectations in this platform. There's no pressure on this. You can choose whatever information you would like to share.

You can tag me @macchiata on your intro post if you decided to make one.

Thank you. Sounds like a good idea. I’ll post up & also share a chapter of my book too. Im a bit new to this but glad to be here. Thanks for the guidance!

Hello @albionrobot! This is @traciyork from the @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) curation team. We noticed you shared your first post here on Hive - congratulations and welcome! It would also be awesome if you could do an introduction post, so our community can get to know you better. I see that @macchiata already recommended this one as an example -

Keeping Up With the Buzz - My Introduction to the Hive Community.

Speaking of community, we have many different ones here on the blockchain, devoted to all kinds of interests. Here's a link so you can check them all out - Hive Communities. I see you already found the excellent Hive Book Club, and you might be interested in the Freewriters Community as well.

Also, as Hive can sometimes be quite confusing, the newly launched Newbies Guide should be helpful to you, as it is a growing repository of useful and easy to understand posts about how the Hive ecosystem works.

Please be aware that Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog, so it is important not to include content that you don't own without sources (and it shouldn't exceed 50% of the post). For more information, check this post - Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise by hivewatchers.

Since you're new, you may run into an RC (Resource Credits) error when trying to comment/post because you don't yet have enough Hive in your account yet. For assistance with a temporary delegation to get you started, be sure to check out the Gift Giver site.

For now, @lovesniper will follow your account and we are looking forward to seeing your expanded intro post. Also, please mention (also known as tagging) @traciyork & @lovesniper (or @macchiata too, since she's one of the managers of the LS team...lol) in your intro post in order for us to be notified, so we can consider your post for OCD curation. Lastly, feel free to hop into the OCD Discord server if you have any questions!

Oh, and best of luck with your book!

Thank you. Yep, all done and my into post should be live now as a blog post. Will look around and get to know what's what and how to do things plus post my work up and see what happens. Sounds like you have great people and places to explore for me here. Good to meet you and happy to be here.

Hé Casper indeed hive could be great yo spread the word or better publish segments or chapters here for us to read. There is a freewriters and a fiction community for writers but a blog in itself is great aswell. So hello welcome
I saw your #introduceyourself blog and its nice to meet you.
Blogging is what its all about on this blockchain. The best part is that you could earn hive crypto, but its not the most important. I have been here for a while and love it! But be carefull with all your passwords, Never give those up !! They are yours, and fraude is everywhere so also here you can run into that so be warned.

To post to Hive i use Peakd and Ecency, both great helps.

I wish you good luck blogging and I Will See you around🍀
Your writing and comments will be appreciated and if you have questions let hive know.
We (@jamerussell and I ) are presenting New comers in Our @Heyhaveyamet blogs almost every day , and There is a Discord called The Terminal for newbies and All answers to your questions, join in, I am on Hive everyday ! You can always leave a comment.

Thank you so much for the message. Really helpful. Yes, I think I will post as a blog a chapter & build from there. It’s all a bit new! But hello, hope to talk more.
