I didn't realise it was from a book. I really enjoyed the series - the first three I liked, then I gave up as I got a little bored. I quite liked the Danish series 'Rain' (I think!) too. I sometimes think I'll never really grow out of young adult stuff - it's kinda fun and I remember loving it so much when I was an actual teenager, it has nostalgic value for me!
