Comics are reading that children are interested in in terms of pictures. This Islamic comic series has caught children's attention since seeing the cover.
I was also interested in buying this comic when I first saw the title. Even though it's late to have it, it doesn't dampen my enthusiasm and the children to finish it immediately. Because of my habit, every time I buy children books to read, I read them too.
This Islamic comic series 1 tells the story of a family who moves home and experiences bad things in their environment. Stories are made per title according to the theme raised along with hadiths related to the events at hand.
Of the several existing titles, two titles appealed to me, namely "Pee Management" and "Jhikmah Takers". The two stories describe situations that are very close to everyday life.
In the title "Management of pee", there are examples of people who do not care about purity, urinate openly, and some do not even clean themselves after being single urinating. There is also an example of a mother who casually allows her child to urinate in a public place without washing. It is depicted in the story how the character teaches his child about correct urination. So, holiness can be maintained.
The title of "Wisdom Takers" tells the story of an attempt to invite parents to pray in the congregation. Starting from their children who pray in the congregation then their parents join in the congregation. Of course, with an invitation from their children. However, every good deed has something to do with it. In this story, it is depicted that there are parents who scold the character of the father because his son cried wanting to pray at the Fajr congregation. Given a solution to the arrogant attitude of the parents, which has a deterrent effect and repentance.
The language used is easy for children to understand and fun. There are also some scene jokes among the characters.

Overall, the contents of the comic series 1 are good, the language is easy for children to digest. Even though I found a typo on page 102. It is suitable to be used as additional reading for children to increase their knowledge of Sharia.
