In 10 years' time, public libraries will undoubtedly be more virtual than now and a large part of the books, manuals, plans, maps, documents, and other sources of information will be available on the web, however, there will be a campaign, at least in developed countries, for people to continue visiting libraries; I think that this has already been done, for example in the United States with museums, even films have been made whose intention is to motivate people, mainly children, and young people, to visit these places where pieces, equipment, and instruments that are part of the history of a country or the world are stored.
As with museums, it will happen with libraries, in them, there will be presentations and publications of writers of all kinds so that people visit the libraries and quite possibly films such as "A night at the public library" or something similar will also be made. This type of activities and promotions for people to visit libraries is important since physical, direct and real contact should never disappear since this is part of teaching. Libraries are having a great challenge regarding this and I know that many are looking for a way to ensure that new generations continue to visit their facilities and in this way this lasts over time.

Tal como sucede con los museos pasará con las bibliotecas, en ellas se harán presentaciones y publicaciones de escritores de todo tipo para que así las personas visiten las bibliotecas y muy posiblemente también se hagan películas como "Una noche en la biblioteca pública" o algo parecido. Este tipo de actividades y promociones a para que las personas visiten las bibliotecas es importante ya que el contacto físico, directo y real nunca debe desaparecer ya que esto forma parte de la enseñanza. Las bibliotecas están teniendo un gran reto con respecto a esto y sé que muchas están buscando la manera de lograr que las nuevas generaciones sigan visitando sus instalaciones y de esta manera esto perdure en el tiempo.

El informarse es algo que está al alcance de un movimiento de dedos, de eso no hay duda, pero las bibliotecas como tal no deberían desaparecer, además no es lo mismo, informarse que aprender, pienso que estos lugares públicos servirán para promover el aprendizaje, además en una biblioteca debería haber menos distracciones y esto podría ser otro punto a su favor, es como el libro físico, antes pensaba que iba a desaparecer, pero ahora no estoy tan segura, creo que igual pasa con las bibliotecas y prefiero apostar a que no desaparecerán.

Linda reflexión @anaout97 sobre todo la comparación con los museos. En la actualidad hay muchos museos que tienen un recorrido virtual (no solo por la pandemia).
Italia, cuna del arte y los museos, ya hace varios años que en la página web de cada museo hay un tour virtual, en algunos casos con una visión tridimensional.
Si eso se pudiera llevar a las bibliotecas públicas sería fantástico.
