Hello there, book lovers!

I think I might mentioned before that I like a lot Isaac Asimov' stories. His works in the idea of the Three Laws of Robotics are a great addition to the whole genre of science fiction. He also was the first one to coin the idea of the hyperspace travel. His stories about other planets and their biology are also a hidden gem amongst his fictional universe.

This book you see in front of you was reworked into a better version. It was already an old book when I first got it. Some pages had fallen out of it and its spine was not in good shape. So my girlfriend did all this work as part of my birthday gift.

The gift came quite late. However, it has to do with delays in the use of that metallic nail paint. She was learning how to use it. It's UV paint. And there are lots of things about it she still does not know how to handle. Many of the details on the cover and spine had to be worked more than once until she got them right.

I love the aesthetics of the book. It looks like something taken out of a post-apocalyptic sci-fi movie. I love it. Besides, it gives me more chances to read the stories I love so much for longer. I guess this is one of the best way to treat a book lover. Giving a book more life is an amazing job and gift.

This was an unexpected, yet great gift. I love it!

As a fellow bibliophile and Asimov reader, but especially as a former librarian, I love to see old books repaired and kept on the shelf.

Oh, yeah. It was a great idea for a gift. This book has still a lot of years of life.
