RE: A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller Jr.

Never heard of that one. I have been reading more lately too. My wife and I have been hitting a lot of used book stores and just today she gave me my 50th birthday present early and it was Kindle Paper White. I'm going to get a ton of use out of it.

Sort:

replacing my old kindle that was not backlit with a paperwhite was one of the best $100 or so that I ever spent. I hope you get a lot of use out of it. you should look into the fact that at least according to my mom, the public library will let you "borrow" books on it for free with some sort of time limit on them, which is odd. There are of course lots of other ways to get things for free on it, as I am sure you now.

Let's stick to the point of this one book though and how I don't really think it is a great recommendation and can be considered dull. If you stumble upon something good let me know, I am nearly finished with a book called "The Iron Heel" which is really good.

I will definitely keep books in mind for you as I work my way through them!
