Misterioso, trepidante, entretenido, con un frenético ritmo, y muy controversial. Estas son las palabras que me permiten describir de manera breve el libro que ahora voy a contarte…

El código Da Vinci es una novela escrita por Dan Brown, de quien ya he leído algún otro libro. Para muchos, una novela de ficción y para otros, una con interesantes datos que no carecen de sentido, todo lo contrario, se convierten en una puerta abierta hacia los más íntimos detalles históricos y matemáticos; aspecto que despertó mi interés como lectora.
Con 560 páginas y 105 capítulos desarrolla una trama de suspenso que establece la gran relación existente entre el arte, la religión y la ciencia, envolviendo al lector en el asesinato de Jacques Sauniére, como consecuencia de proteger un importante secreto religioso, siendo París, y específicamente el museo de Louvre el escenario del sombrío acontecimiento.

El cuerpo de Jacques sugiere una muerte espeluznante, retorcida y relacionada con importantes obras de Leonardo da Vinci, como el hombre de Vitrubio y la enigmática obra de la Mona Lisa. Su muerte deja a la vista las principales claves de lo que se convertirá en una persecución de mensajes que, personajes como Sophie Neveu, criptologa y nieta de Jacques, con quien su relación se encontraba fracturada debido a un desagradable descubrimiento que había hecho sobre su abuelo; y Robert Landong, personaje principal experto en simbología; tendrán que descifrar para lograr descubrir el secreto que por mucho tiempo Jacques resguardaba, antes que alguien más lo haga y caiga en manos equivocadas.
Pero este apresurado juego lleno de ingeniosos acertijos que los llevará de una pista a otra, no solo se verá presionado por el corto tiempo que tienen para descifrar cada uno de los mensajes que surgen en la aventura, sino también por una organización católica que amenazara sus vidas en distintas ocasiones, siendo la mente maestra de la misma, quien menos imaginan, y cuyo interés es dar con este secreto a como dé lugar para evitar que sea descubierto. Pero por si fuera poco, estos dos también deberán huir de la policía. Pues, Jacques al haber dejado escrita una nota que dice “buscar a Robert Landong” la policía lo cree responsable del asesinato.

Dentro de esta trama resaltan los códigos y los anagramas, además de grandes revelaciones religiosas, siendo de gran importancia los distintos sitios donde se suceden los hechos, entre ellos, catedrales; como también hasta los más ínfimos detalles de una obra de arte, sobre todo las de Leonardo Da Vinci, ya que esto les permite avanzar en el juego.
Dentro de los temas contenidos en este libro se encuentran: La secuencia de Fibonacci, la Divina Proporción o el numero Phi, El Pentagrama, El Santo Grial, La Feminidad, la relación de Newton con el secreto que se protege, y el verdadero papel de María Magdalena en tiempos antiguos. Temas que lograron cautivarme manteniéndome muy atenta.
Sumado a ello, quiero resaltar algunas características que he encontrado al leer este libro:
• A Cada capítulo le corresponden hechos que están sucediendo es una misma línea de tiempo, pero en diferente lugar y dispuestos de forma alternada.
• El final de cada capítulo es intrigante y deja al lector con gran curiosidad, lo que hace que la lectura sea adictiva al querer saber que pasa después.
• Al estar presente diferentes datos religiosos que pueden resultar muy convincentes mezclados con arte y ciencia, lleva a cuestionarse mucho la veracidad de lo que en el libro se expresa. ¿Será cierto o no?
• Los datos interesantes son en su mayoría explicados por Robert Landong, dejando así ver sus conocimientos.
• Un aproximado de 560 páginas contiene todos los hechos de una novela en la que trascurren solo 24 horas.

Mysterious, thrilling, entertaining, with a frenetic pace, and very controversial. These are the words that allow me to briefly describe the book I am now going to tell you about....

If you are a lover of mysteries, let me tell you that, if you have not read this book, you should cheer up as soon as possible. I guarantee that each chapter will leave you wanting to know more, as it happened to me, I finished it faster than I expected, and I liked it very much.
With 560 pages and 105 chapters, it develops a suspenseful plot that establishes the great relationship between art, religion and science, involving the reader in the murder of Jacques Sauniére, as a consequence of protecting an important religious secret, being Paris, and specifically the Louvre Museum the scenario of the somber event.
(First clue to decipher. An anagram) It cannot be translated, as it would lose meaning.
But this hurried game full of ingenious riddles that will take them from one clue to another, will not only be pressured by the short time they have to decipher each of the messages that arise in the adventure, but also by a Catholic organization that will threaten their lives on several occasions, being the mastermind of the same, who they least imagine, and whose interest is to find this secret at any cost to prevent it from being discovered. Pero por si fuera poco, estos dos también deberán huir de la policía. Jacques, having left a note that says "look for Robert Landong", the police believe he is responsible for the murder.

Within this plot, codes and anagrams stand out, as well as great religious revelations, being of great importance the different places where the events take place, among them, cathedrals; as well as even the smallest details of a work of art, especially those of Leonardo Da Vinci, since this allows them to advance in the game.
Among the topics contained in this book are: The Fibonacci sequence, the Divine Proportion or the number Phi, The Pentagram, The Holy Grail, Femininity, Newton's relationship with the secret that is protected, and the true role of Mary Magdalene in ancient times. Subjects that managed to captivate me, keeping me very attentive.
In addition to this, I would like to highlight some characteristics that I have found while reading this book:
To Each chapter corresponds events that are happening is the same timeline, but in different place and arranged alternately.
The end of each chapter is intriguing and leaves the reader with great curiosity, which makes the reading addictive by wanting to know what happens next.
The presence of different religious facts that can be very convincing mixed with art and science, leads one to question the veracity of what is expressed in the book. Will it be true or not?
The interesting facts are mostly explained by Robert Landong, thus revealing his knowledge.
Approximately 560 pages contain all the facts of a novel in which only 24 hours pass.
