1. Imaginary Friend by Stephen Chbosky:
It is a novel of suspense and psychological horror that tells the life of a little boy named Christopher. He is 7 years old and moves with his mother to a town in Pennsylvania. Christopher is a poor child and his mother does not have a stable job so they are constantly moving between cities. His mother tends to get involved in toxic and violent relationships, which is another factor for changing cities so much. Since they move to Pennsylvania, the boy begins to feel a presence and that he is being watched so he believes he has an imaginary friend. The story begins to take shape when the little boy is lost for 6 days, no one knows where he is and the whole town is looking for him. During this time Cris immerses himself in this imaginary world of terror, where a lady is following him and his imaginary friend appears. The book is very good and its author is a producer, director and screenwriter so he would be qualified to make his own movie, even a series since the book is very dense.

Su mamá acostumbra a involucrarse en relaciones tóxicas y violentas, lo que es otro factor para cambiar tanto de ciudad. Desde que se mudan a Pensilvania, el niño comienza a sentir una presencia y que lo vigilaban por lo que cree que tiene un amigo imaginario. La historia comienza tomar forma cuando el pequeño se pierde durante 6 días, nadie sabe dónde está y todo el pueblo lo está buscando. Durante este tiempo Cris se sumerge en este mundo imaginario de terror, donde una señora lo está siguiendo y aparece su amigo imaginario. El libro es muy bueno y su autor es productor, director y guionista por lo que él estaría capacitado para hacer su propia película, incluso una serie ya que el libro es muy denso.

Since Nova also has superpowers, she is accepted as a prodigy to help them put an end to crime. The girl ends up facing the dilemma of not knowing which side to be on. There is also a romance in the story. In this book there are typical powers, for example, there is one that means that what you draw becomes real.

Es el primer libro de una trilogía y trata de una chica, Nova, que vive en un mundo de súper héroes y súper villanos. Hay humanos con poderes y son llamados prodigios. Nova está en contra de los súper héroes ya que cuando era pequeña una pandilla mató a toda su familia y los súper héroes nunca hicieron nada para hacer justicia. Por ello, la muchacha les guarda rencor y decide involucrarse entre ellos para vengarse. Como Nova también tiene súper poderes es aceptada como prodigio para que los ayude a acabar con el crimen. La muchacha termina enfrentando el dilema de no saber de que lado estar. Además hay un romance en la historia. En este libro hay poderes típicos, como por ejemplo, hay uno que consiste en que lo que dibuje se convierte en real.
3. The distance between us by Reyna Grande: It is the autobiography of Reyna Grande and it tells us her story specifically in her childhood and adolescence and how difficult her life was. She was born in Mexico and her father had to go live in the United States to support his family. For this reason, Reyna and her siblings have to go live with their grandmother who treats them badly; He doesn't feed them or dress them well and he treats Reyna especially badly. All the money that their parents sent them, the grandmother kept or gave it to another of her granddaughters. Reyna's parents had no idea of the abuse their children were going through. After a few years the children go to live in the United States and do so illegally. It is a strong and heartbreaking story because of the things these kids go through.

Es la autobiografía de Reyna Grande y nos cuenta su historia específicamente en su niñez y adolescencia y lo difícil que fue su vida. Por esto, Reyna y sus hermanos tienen que irse a vivir con su abuela quien los trata mal; no los alimenta ni los viste bien y a Reyna la trata especialmente mal. Todo el dinero que les mandaban sus padres, la abuela se lo quedaba o se lo daba a otra de sus nietas. Los padres de Reyna no tenían ni idea del maltrato por el que estaban pasando sus hijos. Después de unos años los niños se van a vivir a Estados Unidos y lo hacen de forma ilegal. Es una historia fuerte y desgarradora por las cosas que pasan estos chicos.
4. Clemencia by Ignacio Manuel Altamirano: It is a historical novel that takes place in Guadalajara in 1863. The protagonist, the republican army soldier Fernando Valle, meets two women: Clemencia and her friend Isabel. They are two totally opposite women. Clemencia is dark and has a strong character. Isabel is blonde and has a more delicate personality. Both women are beautiful. It is a love triangle type love story, although there is a fourth person involved, the protagonist's friend who wants to be with both of them. This novel also focuses on the battles when France invaded Mexico.

Esta novela también se enfoca en las batallas de cuando Francia invadió México.
