Este post está escrito en dos idiomas y dividido para facilitar la lectura.
Hace algún tiempo que no participo en iniciativas en HIVE y, la verdad es que darle un toque fresco a los posts es algo que siempre me ha gustado, algo así como descansar un poco. Navegando un poco por la comunidad de HIVE BOOK CLUB, me conseguí con ésta iniciativa de @nicxi que me encantaría responder.
¿Cuál es primer libro que recuerdas haber leído de niño/a?El primer libro que leí, fue cuando tenía aproximadamente unos 6 - 7 años y se titulaba El Millonario Instantáneo por Mark Fisher. La verdad es que recuerdo que yo me imaginaba todo como si eso fuese realmente una historia super interesante. Seguido de ese, recuerdo que mi hermana me regaló el libro La Princesa que creía en los cuentos de Hadas por Marcia Grad Powers. Estos dos serían considerados mis primeros libros de toda la vida.
¿Cuál es el mejor momento para leer?Soy una persona que puede leer en cualquier situación. Haya ruido exterior o no, siempre es un buen momento para leer un buen libro. Anteriormente si se me dificultaba muchísimo el concentrarme a la hora de leer, principalmente cuando era adolescente, poco a poco fui desarrollando la gran habilidad de que todo a mi alrededor se aquiete cuando me concentro en algo.
Paso gran parte de mi día leyendo, inclusive cuando trabajaba 13 horas en la cocina del restaurante, dejaba el libro lo suficientemente cerca para cuando bajase el ritmo de trabajo continuar leyendo.
¿En qué formato prefieres leer: digital, papel o ambos?No me siento cómoda leyendo en formato digital, más que nada porque mi vista no está acostumbrada al exceso de luz de los dispositivos. Por tanto, prefiero mil veces tener el libro en formato físico en la mano, desde siempre me han gustado los libros en físico. Sonará extraño, pero es cómo si el efecto de tener el libro en tus manos te adentrase mucho más en la historia.
Muy poco he leído en formato digital, realmente lo único que leo en éste formato es cuando estoy estudiando sobre algún tema en específico que requiera ser Googleado.
¿Qué te distrae más cuando lees?La única cosa que puede sacarme de una lectura soy yo misma. Cuando no tengo mucho orden en las pensamientos o cuando yo misma decido que ha sido suficiente. En algunas ocasiones, cuando estoy preocupada por una infinidad de situaciones no puedo recordar ni las dos últimas palabras de lo que leí. Así que supongo que la respuesta más certera que puedo conseguir en éste momento es, mis propios pensamientos.
De resto, tengo la capacidad de leer hasta con un bebé llorando a gritos al lado mío. Supongo que todo esto se debe a todas esas veces que intentaba leer en el salón de clases y, un río de adolescentes desesperados no paraban de gritar.
¿Género favorito?Uh... Difícil, muy difícil pregunta. Suelo leer sobre todo realmente, no hay un género que no haya leído hasta el momento, pero creo que me decanto más por el terror, tanto psicológico, como corporal, como cósmico, como terror en sí. De mis autores favoritos están Stepehn King, Lovecraft, Poe, Ashton Smith, Junji Ito.
Por tanto creo que el terror si podría considerarlo mi género favorito, aunque jamás me cierro a las posibilidades de disfrutar libros de cualquier genero (inclusive de autoayuda).
Bueno, ésta ha sido mi pequeña participación en ésta iniciativa, la verdad es que es siempre agradable hablar un poco de libros y conocer los distintos gustos de las personas. Me gustaría invitar a ésta iniciativa a @mariblue 💚

What is the first book you remember reading as a child?The first book I read, when I was about 6 - 7 years old, was called The Instant Millionaire by Mark Fisher. When is the best time to read?I am a person who can read in any situation. Whether there is outside noise or not, it is always a good time to read a good book. I used to find it very difficult to concentrate when reading, especially when I was a teenager, but little by little I developed the ability to make everything around me quiet down when I concentrate on something.
I spend most of my day reading, even when I worked 13 hours in the restaurant kitchen, I would leave the book close enough to continue reading when the work slowed down.
In which format do you prefer to read: digital, paper or both?I don't feel comfortable reading in digital format, mostly because my eyesight is not used to the excessive light of the devices. Therefore, I prefer to have the book in physical format in my hand a thousand times, I have always liked physical books. It will sound strange, but it is as if the effect of having the book in your hands takes you much deeper into the story.
I have read very little in digital format, really the only thing I read in this format is when I am studying about a specific topic that needs to be Googled.
What distracts you the most when you read?The only thing that can get me out of a reading is myself. When I don't have much order in my thoughts or when I myself decide that I've had enough. Sometimes when I'm preoccupied with a myriad of situations I can't even remember the last two words of what I read. So I guess the most accurate answer I can get at the moment is, my own thoughts.
Otherwise, I have the ability to read even with a screaming baby next to me. I guess it all comes from all those times I tried to read in the classroom, and a river of desperate teenagers wouldn't stop screaming.
Favorite genre?Uh... Tough, very tough question. I tend to read about everything really, there isn't a genre I haven't read so far, but I think I'm more into horror, both psychological, body, cosmic, and horror per se. My favorite authors are Stepehn King, Lovecraft, Poe, Ashton Smith, Junji Ito.
So I think that horror could be considered my favorite genre, although I never close myself to the possibilities of enjoying books of any genre (including self-help).

El terror es de los pocos géneros que aún no he leído (no me he atrevido XD), en general no me gustan los sucesos paranormales, por lo que siento que leer una historia con una temática así me pondría los pelos de punta y no me dejaría dormir dos noches seguidas XDD
