Hola a todos, hoy les quiero compartir una lista con la recopilación de diversos libros que personalmente me parecen ideales para la estación otoñal, con una breve sinopsis y algún que otro comentario personal sin ningún spoiler, aunque, están mayormente inspirados para leerse en esta época del año por supuesto estos se pueden leer en cualquier otro momento, siento que los libros mencionados pueden ser perfectos para que el lector se sienta inmerso en la lectura en estos meses, con misterios, thrillers o con algunos que tienen un ambiente más acogedor, los libros no se encuentran en ningún orden en específico, traté de hacer la lista lo más variada posible, con diferentes géneros, autores, para todo tipo de rango de edades y diferentes gustos, recomiendo que antes de decidir leer alguno de los libros mencionados investigar previamente los trigger warnings ya que algunos de estos contienen temas tales como: bullying, violencia, suicidio, asesinatos descritos de una manera muy explícita entre otros temas que pueden llegar a incomodar a algunos lectores, su discreción es recomendada.
Hello everyone, today I want to share with you a list with the compilation of various books that I personally find ideal for the autumn season, with a brief synopsis and some personal commentary without any spoilers, although, they are mostly inspired to be read at this time of the year of course these can be read at any other time, I feel that the books mentioned can be perfect for the reader to feel immersed in reading in these months, with mysteries, thrillers or with some that have a more cozy atmosphere, the books are not in any specific order, I tried to make the list as varied as possible, with different genres, authors, for all kinds of age range and different tastes, I recommend that before deciding to read any of the books mentioned previously investigate the trigger warnings as some of these contain topics such as: bullying, violence, suicide, murders described in a very explicit way, among other topics that may make some readers uncomfortable, discretion is recommended.
1 - In cold blood (Truman Capote): es un libro realizado con una investigación de campo, donde el autor con completa veracidad narra los hechos detrás del asesinato cuádruple de una familia estando ésta conformada por los padres y sus dos hijos en un pequeño pueblo en Kansas-Estados Unidos, desde la investigación de la vida de la familia, la narración de la noche en que ocurrieron los hechos, el comportamiento de los asesinos, interrogatorios, comentarios de los habitantes del pequeño pueblo donde ocurrieron los acontecimientos, proceso de investigación por parte de la policía, entre otras cosas, hacen de éste un trabajo completo para todas aquellas personas a las cuales les gusta saber la historia detrás de los crímenes reales.
In cold blood (Truman Capote): is a book made with a field research, where the author with complete veracity narrates the facts behind the quadruple murder of a family being conformed by the parents and their two children in a small town in Kansas-USA, from the investigation of the life of the family, the narration of the night in which the events occurred, the behavior of the murderers, interrogations, comments of the inhabitants of the small town where the events occurred, the process of investigation by the police, among other things, make this a complete work for all those people who like to know the story behind the real crimes.
2 - One of us is lying (Karen M. MacManus): cinco estudiantes de secundaria todos reunidos en detención, de repente uno de ellos muere; un blog está a punto de publicar, dejando a la luz los más oscuros secretos uno por uno, de cada uno de ellos, ¿quién es quién?, ¿quién dice la verdad?, ¿quién está mintiendo?, este libros es uno de misterio para jóvenes adultos que cuenta con una segunda parte "one of us is next".
One of us is lying (Karen M. MacManus): five high school students all gathered in detention, suddenly one of them dies; a blog is about to publish, bringing to light the darkest secrets one by one, of each of them, who is who, who is telling the truth, who is lying, this book is a young adult mystery with a sequel one of us is next.
3 - Verity (Colleen Hoover): una escritora quien está pasando por una mala situación económica es contratada para terminar la saga de la famosa escritora Verity Crowford, quién por un trágico accidente terminó con grandes lesiones, es por ello que ahora la autora anónima tiene que mudarse en la casa de la familia Crowford para poder recopilar toda la información que pueda haber en la oficina de Verity sobre cómo darle fin a la exitosa saga de libros, pero termina encontrando una no publicada autobiografía, que va revelando los más retorcidos secretos, ligando romance con thriller es una historia atrapante, que a veces era tan retorcida y gráfica que tenía que dejar de leer por unos minutos para poder procesar todo lo que estaba ocurriendo y luego continuar leyendo, con un final que me dejo con la boca abierta.
Verity (Colleen Hoover): a writer who is going through a bad financial situation is hired to finish the saga of the famous writer Verity Crowford, who by a tragic accident ended up with major injuries, which is why now the anonymous author has to move into the Crowford family home in order to collect all the information that may be in Verity's office on how to end the successful saga of books, but ends up finding an unpublished autobiography, which reveals the most twisted secrets, linking romance with thriller is a gripping story, which at times was so twisted and graphic that I had to stop reading for a few minutes to be able to process everything that was happening and then continue reading, with an ending that left me with my mouth open.
4 - The inheritance games (Jennifer Lynn Barnes): Avery Grambs, es una chica de diecisiete años que está atravesando por una situación económica y familiar bastante complicada, cuando de repente es citada para leer el testamento del billonario Tobias Hawthorne, del cual ella completamente desconoce, en el cual se estipula que ella es la nueva heredera de casi toda su fortuna luego de dejarle un mínimo porcentaje a sus hijas y a sus cuatro nietos, teniendo como una única condición quedarse a vivir todo un año en la casa Hawthorne con familia incluida, esto abre paso a especulaciones, teorías, tener que descifrar acertijos y jugar todos los juegos que dejó Tobías antes de morir, dejando al descubierto toda clase de secretos, aunque, siempre hay que estar alerta, ya que la familia está dispuesta a todo por la herencia, esta trilogía de misterio para jóvenes adultos con algo de romance es increíblemente atrapante, teniéndose que leer en orden primero inheritance games, luego The Hawthorne Legacy y The Final Gambit.

5 - A good girl’s guide to murder (Holly Jackson): un libro de misterio para jóvenes adultos que narra la historia de una chica llamada Pippa quién tiene una gran pasión por los casos de crímenes reales. Por eso cuando escoge el tema para su proyecto final en la secundaria elige investigar el caso del asesinato de uno de los estudiantes de la secundaria quien presuntamente fue un acto realizado por otro estudiante, para luego suicidarse, siendo esto una gran tragedia para el pequeño pueblo, poco a poco la protagonista se ve cada vez más inmersa en la investigación, donde la lista de sospechosos se hace más larga y todo lo que se creía saber de un caso solucionado por la policía podría no ser toda la verdad; el orden de los libros es: Kill joy (una corta precuela), Good girl´s guide to murder, Good girl, bad blood, As good as dead.
A good girl's guide to murder (Holly Jackson): a young adult mystery book that tells the story of a girl named Pippa who has a great passion for true crime cases. so when she chooses the topic for her final project in high school she chooses to investigate the case of the murder of one of the high school students who presumably was an act performed by another student, then committing suicide, this being a great tragedy for the small town, little by little the protagonist is more and more immersed in the investigation, where the list of suspects becomes longer and longer and everything that was thought to know of a case solved by the police might not be the whole truth; the order of the books is: Kill joy (a short prequel), Good girl's guide to murder, Good girl, bad blood, As good as dead.
6 - Serpent and dove (Shelby Mahurin): es una trilogía de romance y fantasía, acerca de una bruja que no tuvo otra opción que abandonar su aquelarre, y ahora se ve obligada a huir y evitar que las otras brujas sepan de su ubicación, además, de los otros peligros, ya que la iglesia tiene cazadores de brujas especializados, que cazan brujas para luego quemarlas en público y a cualquiera que sea cómplice, luego de una serie de eventos desafortunados solo le queda una opción para salvarse, un complicado plan que consiste en casarse con el enemigo y rogar que nadie la descubra, el orden de la trilogía es Serpent and dove, Blood and honey y Gods and monsters.
Serpent and dove (Shelby Mahurin): Is a trilogy of romance and fantasy, about a witch who had no choice but to leave her coven, and is now forced to flee and prevent the other witches from knowing her location, plus, the other dangers, as the church has specialized witch hunters, who hunt witches and then burn them in public and anyone who is an accomplice, after a series of unfortunate events she has only one option left to save herself, a complicated plan that consists of marrying the enemy and praying that no one discovers her, the order of the trilogy is Serpent and dove, Blood and honey and Gods and monsters.
7 - The Da Vinci code (Dan Brown): es un libro de misterio, ficción que narra los hechos ocurridos alrededor del asesinato del guardia de seguridad del museo Louvre, Paris-Francia mientras cumplía con su jornada laboral. En la investigación los policías conectan los hechos con un profesor de una prestigiosa universidad convirtiéndolo en el principal sospechoso, aunque, por otro lado este solo quiere demostrar su inocencia y revelar el significado detrás del mensaje secreto que el guardia de seguridad le dejó antes de ser asesinado, descubriendo el paradero de una de los mayores sociedades de la historia los caballeros templarios, y los más grandes secretos dentro de la historia de humanidad, entre otros enigmas también tendrá que investigar quién está detrás de esta serie de asesinatos, y salvar a toda costa su reputación, el libro tiene diversos puntos de vista de los personajes principales, lo cual lo hace dinámico y entretenido que de seguro te mantendrá esperando descubrir lo que pasará a continuación.
The Da Vinci code (Dan Brown): is a mystery fiction book that narrates the events surrounding the murder of a security guard of the Louvre Museum, Paris-France, while he was on duty. In the investigation the police connect the facts with a professor of a prestigious university making him the main suspect, although, on the other hand he only wants to prove his innocence and reveal the meaning behind the secret message that the security guard left him before being killed, discovering the whereabouts of one of the greatest societies in history, the Knights Templar, and the greatest secrets within the history of mankind, among other enigmas he will also have to investigate who is behind this series of murders, and save his reputation at all costs, the book has different points of view of the main characters, which makes it dynamic and entertaining that will surely keep you waiting to discover what will happen next.

Me has convencido de ver con otros ojos algunos de los libros que acá nombras (excepto Da Vinci´s Code que desde siempre me ha fascinado). Ojalá tuviese el tiempo libre de hace algunos años atrás para disfrutar del mundo de la lectura. Ahora el poco tiempo libre que tengo lo uso en otra pasión XD U know what i mean XD
I have read Da Vinci Code and Verity. Both are mind-blowing thrillers. Except that that latter one in psychological and has some mixed reviews. I liked both though.
