How Do We Choose The Highlighted Posts?

All of you must be wondering how we picked the authors who get into the highlight. As some of the good curation projects out there, our highlighted authors are also handpicked to ensure that we diversify the content and the recommendations in the highlight. We want this highlight to be a place where people get inspiration, a place to learn something new, and even finding a recommendation.

Hence, throughout the week, the moderators will check the community and manually hand pick the posts. Some factors includes : the post subject, post quality, engagement, personal voice, and general effort.

AuthorTitleDescription
@kneelyracDo I Have That Book Challenge"I wanted to write a travel blog but I ended up stopping it since it feels like I forget the feeling of traveling. I wanted to post some photographs, but I don't have enough photos that I feel like it's worth sharing. That leaves me to one of the things that remains constant: Books. To gear my mind, let's start with Do I Have That Book Challenge which was popular a few years ago"
@jesuspsoto3 libros infantiles para todas las edades / 3 children's books for all ages"The purpose of this post is to present, precisely, to the #Hive community, 3 books that in my opinion every child, young person or adult should read and reread."
@burnoutawesomeGabo's Masterpiece Uncovered: One Hundred Years of Solitude (Review)"Gabo's work reflects life and how generations pass leaving their mark, Macondo is a living entity in much of history and we feel its presence, the majestic paragraphs of Marquez make this one of the masterpieces of Latin literature and one of the most read books in the world with a touch of Gabo and a touch of magical realism."
@kruznik7Dune / Review / Sci-fi / (ENG) (ESP)"When reading it, you will realize that you will be immersed in a completely different world, it has nothing to do with warships with spaceships, or laser swords, or advanced technology, it is a unique world where science fiction meets fantasy but a masterful way, in my opinion never repeated."
@notacinephileWalden - Henry David Thoreau - Literary Classics #16''For anyone who never had any clue about what is Walden — it's a collection of essays by Henry David Thoreau when he went to live by the Walden pond, in the cabin he built by himself. The essays range from the natural beauty of the Walden pond, the habitat, and ecosystem around it, the virtues of living a simple life to prioritize what's more important in life — enlightenment, knowledge, contentedness, transcendentalism; to socio-political engines of then and condition of men.''
