Excellent post. I agree with you that the habit of reading has not been lost but it is manifested in another way.
For example the ebooks. It is true that the feeling of having the book in your hands, to feel the smell of paper mixed with ink is unmistakable and at the same time unique but the paper is gradually disappearing and we must get used to it.
The important thing is not to lose the habit of reading.

You are right, physical books will keep on having it's values. You have given the real facts about library.
