Sidney Sheldon displayed real mastery in articulating this fictional book.
It's packed with thriller, twists and a touch of romance.
Disclaimer: There are few amorous scenes in his books. I didn't have an issue with it though; I feel it just gave the storyline more life and depth .
This story follows a lady called Tracy Whitney. She was described in the book as a young lady who went through a lot of hardship and ended up in jail.
Life dealt with her so bad but when she escaped prison, she met this guy, and they both collaborated to run many scams.
Chess lovers, there was even a scam she played with two of the best chess players in the world.

Let me give you guys a backstory.
It was actually my father who got me hooked on these. When he was younger, he read a lot of books, and he had a few of them locked up in his archives.
In the year 2017, I was done with high school, but I didn't get admission on time to the university, so I spent a year at home.
I was in a sticky situation because I didn't have a phone, the power supply was also terrible where I stayed in Nigeria, and I was the only child at home, so you can imagine how lonely and bored I was.
I decided to go through my dad's archives and steal his books 😈 📚.
Just joking, I only borrowed them.
I started with James Hadley Chase books, which are short and could be read in a few hours.
Then I moved to Sidney Sheldon, and that's when I found myself addicted to books and didn't mind using any spare money I had to procure some for myself.

These were one of my first books and were one of the best I've read. I highly recommend book lovers to give this a try.
If you love thrills, a touch of romance, and can bear the suspense of the writer, this book is for you.
