Hello and welcome to my comic book review.
Recently I was recommended a horror comic, the author on the channel as well as in the comments wrote me that the comic is scary . Under the influence of "positive" manifestations. I decided to read the comic book.
The Furry Trap is a collection of several different themed stories.
When I started reading it I expected a comic book with a lot of horror and intriguing story. What I got was a weak comic book which repels with nudity and exploitation of sexuality and shock.
Author Josh Simmons has collected his "stories" that he created between 2004 and 2011, but we as readers will not find any improvement in his craft, most of the stories are created in a similar style.
The author has taken it upon himself to make his comic one of a kind. If you remember my review of Prison Pitt, you know that I did not like it, here it is similar.
The plot is scarce, and when it appears, it turns out that the comic itself is 4 pages long, which is unfortunately hard to relate to. Those that are longer are made to surprise the reader with nudity or some strange kind of sadism.
There are some exceptions in this collection, some comics that have an interesting narrative and try to tell a story that makes the reader's mind wander, but for the most part this is a meaningless comic, evil for evil's sake, that's how it can be described.
It's a shame that he didn't focus on one story, but created several and each one is very different, so the reader doesn't know what to expect.
In the comic book we have a story which slightly resembles A Time for Adventure (the beginning) but the finale suits the fans of Edward Lee's works (extreme horror), which does not matter in terms of plot. It's more like two extreme different stories glued together for saliva and served because it will be shocking.
We also have Booner penis which, as the name suggests, tells the story of a character who has a bony penis and quite a strange schizophrenic atmosphere verging on masochistic family drives.
Unfortunately, the comic itself is not good, it has a lot of mistakes and for even an adult reader it may be a point that some artists should stay with other things than publishing comics that want to shock without a plot.
I rate the comic itself at 2/10. Admittedly, it is better than Prison Pitt, but unfortunately it is neither a horror film, nor a good visual comic, it is a cluster of scribbles.

The Furry Trap bo o nim mowa to zbiór kilku różnych tematycznie opowieści.
Zabierajac się za czytanie spodziewałem się komiksu z doza grozy, przerażenia i intrygującej opowieści, otrzymałem słaby komiks który odpycha epatowaniem nagością i na sile eksploatowaniem seksualności i szoku.
Autor Josh Simmons zebrał swoje „opowieści”, które stworzył na przełomie 2004- 2011. Jednak my jako czytelnicy nie znajdziemy w nim poprawy warsztatu, większość historyjek jest w podobnym stylu tworzona.
Autor wziął sobie do serca to by jego komiks był jedyny w swoim rodzaju. Jeśli pamiętacie moja recenzje Prison Pitta to wiecie, ze nie podobał mi si, tutaj jest podobnie.
Fabuła jest znikoma, a kiedy sie pojawia to okazuje sie, ze sam komiks jest 4 stronicowy co niestety ciężko odnieść sie. Te które są dłuższe to są sile są tworzone tak by zaskoczyć czytelnika golizna bądź jakimś dziwna odmiana sadyzmu.
W zbiorze tym są pewne wyjątki, są komiksy które maja ciekawa naracje i starają sie przestawić jakaś historie która powoduje, ze czytelnik zagłębi sie myślami, jednak w dużej mierze to komiks pozbawiony sensu, zło dla zła, tak można opisać.
Szkoda, ze nie skupił sie na jednej, a stworzył kilka i każda jest skrajnie inna, przez co czytelnik nie wie czego sie spodziewać.
W komiksie mamy historie która lekko podobna jest do Pory na przygodę ( początek) jednak finał pasuje dla fanów twórczości Edwarda Lee ( skrajny ekstremalny horror), co nijak fabularnie nie ma znaczenia. Bardziej to wyglada jak dwie skrajne różne historie sklejone na ślinę i podane bo to będzie szokujące.
Mamy tez Booner penis co jak nazwa wskazuje opowiada o bohaterze, który posiada kościste przyrodzenie i dosyć dziwna schizowa atmosferę ocierająca sie o masochistyczne popędy rodzinne.
Sam komiks niestety nie jest dobry, ma wiele błędów i dla czytelnika nawet dorosłego może być takim punktem, ze niektórzy artyści powinni pozostać przy innych rzeczach niż wydawaniu komiksów, które na sile chcą szokować bez fabuły.
Sam komiks oceniam na 2/10 jest co prawda lepiej niż w Prison pitt, ale to niestety nie jest ani horror, ani tym bardziej dobry komiks wizualny, to zlepek bazgrołów.
Stworzyłem również filmik na którym bliżej omawiam każda historie i co w niej znajduje sie ciekawego bądź odrzuca wiec zapraszam.
