Entre el montón de sagas que he leÃdo, creo que "De Sangre y Cenizas" ha sido todo un placer para mà de consumir. Me la he terminado lo más rápido que puedo y estoy muy impaciente de que salgan los últimos 2 libros. Y como en cada reseña, les recuerdo que Jennifer L. Armentrout es la escritora de esta apasionada saga, la cual es una joya que se convirtió en mis favoritas. En el último resumen/reseña les comentaba que se ponÃa cada vez más interesante, y asà es.
Among the slew of sagas I've read, I think "Of Blood and Ashes" has been quite a pleasure for me to consume. I've finished it as fast as I can and I can't wait for the last 2 books to come out. And as in every review, I remind you that Jennifer L. Armentrout is the writer of this passionate saga, which is a gem that became my favorites. In the last summary/review I told you that it was getting more and more interesting, and it is.
Después de la captura de Cas, Poppy debe enfrentarse a ser una reina y no morir en el intento, especialmente porque debe ganarse a los Atlantianos y también recuperar a su rey. Lo bueno es que Poppy no está realmente sola, puesto que tiene al guapo de Kieran a su lado de forma incondicional, y a los chicos, Emil, Delano, Vonetta y especialmente el draken Raeven, junto con los demás drakens (algo asà como dragones). Mucho de este libro se trató de estrategias, batallas y todo lo relacionado con el rescate de Casteel.
After Cas's capture, Poppy must deal with being a queen and not dying trying, especially since she must win over the Atlantians and also get her king back. The good thing is that Poppy is not really alone, as she has the handsome Kieran by her side unconditionally, and the boys, Emil, Delano, Vonetta and especially the draken Raeven, along with the other drakens (sort of like dragons). A lot of this book was about strategies, battles and everything related to Casteel's rescue.
En la captura de Cas por la reina de sangre, cuyo nombre es Isbeth y realmente era la amante de Malec, un Dios prácticamente. Este debe enfrentarse a todo lo que ya pasó: estar encerrado, torturas, extracción de sangre, estar sin comer y demás. Pero eso no es todo, Cas debe aceptar que Malik nunca estuvo secuestrado, estaba ahà "Por su propia voluntad", enamorado de Millicent, la hija de Isbeth y básicamente hermana de Poppy. Todo esto es un shock y noticias importantes, detalles que no entran todos en este resumen/reseña.
In the capture of Cas by the blood queen, whose name is Isbeth and was really Malec's mistress, a god practically. This one must face everything that already happened: being locked up, tortures, blood extraction, being without food and so on. But that's not all, Cas must accept that Malik was never kidnapped, he was there "Of his own free will", in love with Millicent, Isbeth's daughter and basically Poppy's sister. Y si se preguntaran, porque estoy segura de que no lo dije, el padre de Poppy es Ires, gemelo de Malec (Malec antiguo rey de Atlantia, todo complicado lo sé). Y como Malec era el amor de Isbeth, esta los obliga a buscarlo cuando sabe que está vivo, y todo el grupo se encarga de ellos. Una trampa que la falsa reina puso fue envenenar a Kieran y por fin sucede lo que estábamos esperando: La Unión. Un capÃtulo apasionante que estuvo al 100, ahora Cas y Kieran estaban unidos a Poppy, bueno, los 3 estaban unidos entre sÃ, más fuertes que nunca.
And if you were wondering, because I'm sure I didn't say it, Poppy's father is Ires, Malec's twin (Malec former king of Atlantia, all complicated I know). And since Malec was Isbeth's love, Isbeth forces them to look for him when she knows he's alive, and the whole group takes care of them. One trap the fake queen set was to poison Kieran and finally what we were waiting for happens: The Union. An exciting chapter that was at 100, now Cas and Kieran were united with Poppy, well, the 3 of them were united with each other, stronger than ever.
Después de encontrar a Malec y luchar contra Isbeth, se revelan los poderes de Poppy, una auténtica Primigenia, nacida de carne y fuego, un momento demasiado Iconic. Pero eso no es todo, se revelan cosas sobre los primigenios y la verdad de todos los "dioses", quienes eran dioses, quienes eran primigenios y demás. Honestamente, eso es material para contarles luego, cuando les traiga la reseña del Spin-off y la historia completa de los primigenios, asà que nos leemos pronto!
After finding Malec and fighting Isbeth, Poppy's powers are revealed, a true Primigen, born of flesh and fire, a moment too Iconic. But that's not all, things are revealed about the primordials and the truth of all the "gods", who were gods, who were primordials and so on.
