Last week I was here reviewing the second part of the second story in the Azrael book. The truth is, I really like it. It grabbed me from the moment I read the first book, and I was very excited recently when I was able to finish it. This time, I want to talk to you about the ending of this series. I thought it was the last book, but at the end, it said something like “this story will continue,” which leads us to believe that the protagonists are still around and that there are things that haven't been completely resolved yet.

In the last book, we are left with a very shocking ending, because, broadly speaking, an indispensable character dies, and in the same way, a resurrection occurs that should not have happened. Obviously, in many books where the world is fantasy and magic, resurrections are usually forbidden. In this case, the same thing happens, but since the protagonist used the power of love to carry this out, without being fully aware of what she was doing, there are no major repercussions, or at least, we don't know about them until later. Then, in addition, as our main duo is in hiding, trying to make plans to return so that Samkiel can have his parents and Dianna can be more at ease. They separate, and when they are together again, a lot of things happen, including a wedding. And there's a scene that I really liked in the book where Samkiel realizes that his powers and his sword, which is oblivion, are not something external to him, but are part of him. He is those things, and that's how he can literally call on his powers and have them return to him. It's one of the best scenes I've ever read, and I feel like he was the protagonist of this book. Even Dianna, who basically lost her soul, also gave me a lot of good scenes, and I feel like my aunt has passed away. Diana was in denial and everything was constant, but now she has changed a bit and I liked this dynamic much more.

Another thing about this book is that we are introduced to a goddess, a queen, who would be Krella or something like that, if I'm not mistaken. She is mentioned in the first book, but I read it a long time ago and I really forgot a lot of things, a lot of details. But it turns out that Samkiel's father, the former king of the gods, had three children, or three creations, because they were not flesh and blood, but rather his creations. Among them were Kaden, Isaiah, and the goddess Krella. That's quite interesting, the dynamics and all the secrets that Samkiel's father hid. And these things are resolved little by little. They are like the gift of threats and are basically full of powers and subjects. So in the end, I feel like it's shocking, but at the same time, it's not, since Diana is dragged into a separate world, and it's not clear if she was dragged into the world of the dead by death itself, and he went to look for her, which revealed many things and made the destiny called Roccurem forget. So I don't know what's going to happen in the next book. I don't know if Diana is, in quotation marks, dead, if she's going to come back to life, I don't know what's going to happen to Samkiel when he finds out. And I feel like the next book has to be the last one, because I feel like extending the story is going to be a bit forced. Hopefully it will be the last one, and I feel like if it is, it's going to be full of a lot of drama. I really liked this book a lot and I highly recommend it. This is a series that, surprisingly, is by an author I didn't know and that I liked a lot. I hope you loved it. Read this review, and we'll see you soon!
