That couldn't be far from the truth. Generic information available widely and even plenty research papers are available online. All it takes to confirm whether a something is false or not is only a mere seconds. Yet, plenty are still falling to false information. But yeah, I think there's a lot factor at play when it comes to learning for instance socio-economic situation. Even today, there are plenty who still doesn't have a smartphone is actually struggling with remote studying during the pandemic.
