El libro que traigo a continuación se llama Hush, hush, de Becca Fitzpatrick. Una obra que tiene cierta popularidad, del tipo que gustan a los adolescentes y adultos jóvenes. No soy muy fanática de este tipo de libros, pero el haberlo leído y por segunda vez, tiene una explicación.
La primera vez que me adentré en esta historia fue por curiosidad y porque recién adquiría el hábito de la lectura, por lo que los libros ligeros me venían bien. La segunda vez fue por entretenimiento y por la necesidad imperiosa de desaparecer de mi mundo y entrar en otro. Los libros nunca fallan en esta tarea. No quise hacerlo con una novela compleja y repleta de cargas emocionales, sino con algo sencillo, corto y entretenido.
The book I bring next is called Hush, hush, by Becca Fitzpatrick. A work that has a certain popularity, the kind that teens and young adults like. I'm not a big fan of this type of book, but having read it, and for the second time, has an explanation.
The first time I got into this story was out of curiosity and because I had just acquired the habit of reading, so light books were good for me. The second time it was for entertainment and out of a compelling need to disappear from my world and enter another. Books never fail in this task. I didn't want to do it with a complex and emotionally charged novel, but with something simple, short and entertaining.

Mi opinión - My opinion
A pesar de haberlo leído dos veces no tengo una muy buena opinión acerca de este libro. Pienso que una de las cosas mejores logradas por la autora fue trasmitir al lector, o en este caso a mí, la desesperación y hasta la paranoia de la protagonista. En el libro mencionan que Nora tiene problemas de confianza, esto debido al asesinato de su padre, pero no ahonda como tal en este tema, lo toca muy superficialmente, algo que en mi opinión se pudo aprovechar mejor.
Aparte de la típica trama chica buena enamorada de chico malo y sexy, hubo cosas que me parecieron exageradas, como el hecho (alerta de spoiler) de que varias personas quisieran matar a Nora y lo intentaran prácticamente que el mismo día, aún sin estar vinculadas. Otras cosas me parecieron absurdas, del tipo «esto solo pasa en películas y ni eso», o por lo menos en la vida real no me imagino disfrazándome (y con un disfraz que no oculta tu identidad) para ir a coquetear con un empleado y así obtener información. ¡Ah, y teniendo que anotar las preguntas porque se te olvidan!
Otra cosa que pude notar es que este libro tiene partes muy confusas, sobre todo en las que ocurre toda la acción, a veces me encontraba perdida y sin entender algunas cosas, aunque claro, esto bien pudo ser que yo no las entendí y no que la autora no las expresó de la mejor manera.
A pesar de ser una historia con criaturas sobrenaturales, hubo cosas que no me parecieron creíbles, acciones de los personajes, ciertas partes de la trama. Cabe destacar que una de las cosas que más me llamó la atención de este libro es todo ese mundo construido acerca de ángeles, arcángeles, seres caídos, nefilim. Una de las cosas que sin duda me hicieron seguir leyéndolo, deseosa de conocer cómo la autora jugaría con este aspecto.
Me propuse leer los demás libros para tener una idea más amplia de este mundo de seres caídos, y saber a dónde me llevará la historia de Nora Grey, por el momento voy por el tercero y sigo sin estar convencida, pero como no me gusta dejar las cosas así, lo acabaré y el que me falta.

Despite having read it twice, I don't have a very good opinion about this book. I think that one of the best things achieved by the author was to transmit to the reader, or in this case to me, the desperation and even the paranoia of the protagonist. In the book they mention that Nora has trust issues, this due to the murder of her father, but it does not delve as such in this topic, it touches it very superficially, something that in my opinion could have been better exploited.
Aside from the typical good girl in love with sexy bad boy plot, there were things that seemed exaggerated to me, like the fact (spoiler alert) that several people wanted to kill Nora and tried to do it practically on the same day, even without being linked. Other things seemed absurd to me, of the "this only happens in movies and not even that" type, or at least in real life I can't imagine disguising myself (and with a disguise that doesn't hide your identity) to go flirt with an employee to get information. Oh, and having to write down the questions because you forget them!
Another thing I noticed is that this book has very confusing parts, especially in the parts where all the action happens, sometimes I was lost and did not understand some things, although of course, this could well be that I did not understand them and not that the author did not express them in the best way.
Despite being a story with supernatural creatures, there were things that I did not find believable, actions of the characters, certain parts of the plot. It is worth noting that one of the things that most caught my attention in this book is all that world built about angels, archangels, fallen beings, nephilim. One of the things that undoubtedly made me keep reading it, eager to know how the author would play with this aspect.
I set out to read the other books to get a broader idea of this world of fallen beings, and to know where Nora Grey's story will take me, at the moment I'm on the third one and I'm still not convinced, but as I don't like to leave things like that, I'll finish it and the one I'm missing.
