Therefore, investigators must resort to more ingenious methods such as circumstantial evidence analysis, interrogations, and psychology to prove guilt and the existence of murder.
The author's conclusion to this novel would likely offer a solution that reveals the victim's fate and punishes the guilty party, even when the most fundamental evidence, the victim's body, is absent.

Juan Ángel Cardi es un escritor cubano, nacido en La Habana en el año 1914. Es conocido a gran escala por sus novelas y cuentos . Podemos citar entre sus obras más reconocidas”Viernes en plural”, “ Una jugada extraordinaria” entre otros ejemplares.
En esta ocasión me he decantado por su libro titulado “El caso del beso con sabor a cereza”. Fue publicado en el año 1987. Recoge seis historias de casos criminales, cargadas de intrigas y misterios.
Según el índice de la publicación, el libro contiene varias narraciones, siendo la principal la que da título a la obra:
• Título Principal: El caso del beso con sabor a cereza.
• El simple caso del crimen sin cadáver.
• El enigmático caso de la Bohemia.
• El caso del clavo inexistente.
• El caso del neumático pinchado.
• El extraño caso del jefe desaparecido
En aquella época en nuestro país imperaba la violencia, la miseria, la ambición y la prostituciòn, características que se evidencian en los tres primeras novelas . Las otras tres narraciones ya tienen como marco los primeros años del triunfo de la revolución.
Los protagonistas de esta obra son el tío y el sobrino, los cuales se dedican con gran pasión a investigar y darle solución a hechos delictivos como robos, chantajes y otros delitos de gran magnitud que en aquel entonces aquejaban a nuestra sociedad.
Mi favorito ha sido sin duda alguna” El simple caso del crimen sin cadáver”, ya que en este el verdadero reto no es solo encontrar al culpable, sino establecer que el crimen realmente ocurrió por ende los investigadores deben recurrir a métodos más ingeniosos como análisis de pruebas circunstanciales, interrogatorios, psicología, para probar la culpabilidad y la existencia del asesinato.
El desenlace del escritor de esta novela probablemente ofrecería una solución donde se evidencia el destino de la víctima y se castiga al culpable, incluso cuando la evidencia más fundamental que es el cuerpo de la víctima , está ausente.
Si te interesa la forma en que Juan Ángel Cardi expone la realidad cubana a través del género policial, te invito a que no te pierdas de esta magnífica obra y resuelvas los difíciles y extraordinarios casos junto a sus protagonistas, que nos incitan a pensar y a cuestionar.
