Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un post especial en el cual hablaré sobre el libro que más me conmovió. Les hablaré del Diario de Ana Frank, un libro que me llegó no solo por lo emotivo, sino porque narra algo que pasó en la vida real durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial durante la persecución a los judíos, para enviarlos a campos de concentración. He leído muchos libros que me han llegado al corazón, pero solo en pensar que alguien en serio sufrió algo así me duele genuinamente. La Segunda Guerra Mundial es un tema que me apasiona y la situación geopolítica, social y económica que surgió a base de ello me llama mucho la atención. Los testimonios de judíos que vivieron el infierno de los campos de concentración me duelen mucho, porque es increíble lo cruel que puede llegar a ser el humano y el Diario de Ana Frank narra la perspectiva de una niña durante esa persecución.
Hello again! Today I come with a special post in which I will talk about the book that touched me the most. I will talk about The Diary of Anne Frank, a book that touched me not only because of its emotion, but also because it narrates something that happened in real life during World War II during the persecution of Jews, to send them to concentration camps. I have read many books that have touched my heart, but just the thought that someone seriously suffered something like this genuinely hurts me. World War II is a subject that I am passionate about and the geopolitical, social and economic situation that arose from it really strikes a chord with me. The testimonies of Jews who lived through the hell of the concentration camps hurt me a lot, because it is incredible how cruel humans can be and the Diary of Anne Frank narrates the perspective of a girl during that persecution.

Ana Frank fue una niña que nació el 12 de junio de 1929 y en su diario narra la vida de la chica entre el 12 de junio de 1942 y el 1 de agosto de 1944, tres días antes de su detención por el ejército alemán el 4 de agosto de 1944 junto con otros judíos que estaban escondidos. Afortunadamente las personas que protegían a la familia de Ana y a los demás judíos resguardaron estos escritos. La madre de Ana murió de hambre en Auschwitz II, Margot cayó débil de su litera muriendo por la caída y Ana poco después murió de tifus, meses antes de que Alemania perdiera la guerra y los judíos fuesen liberados de los campos de concentración. Otto Frank quedó solo, su familia entera y también los amigos que hizo en su escondite fueron víctimas del holocausto. Otto cumplió el deseo de su hija de que se tuviesen testimonios de estas persecuciones, publicó el diario en el año 1947 mostrando al mundo la visión de una joven ante el terror de ser capturada por ser judía,. Este libro tuvo una repercusión increíble por ser uno de los testimonios más importantes del Holocausto. En este libro Ana muestra sus sentimientos reales, ya que confiaba sus pensamientos en "Kitty" como ella llamó a su diario. Se editaron algunos detalles para que el libro sea disfrutable de leer en base a los testimonios reales de Ana, lanzando varias ediciones del mismo diario.
Anne Frank was a girl born on June 12, 1929 and in her diary she narrates her life between June 12, 1942 and August 1, 1944, three days before her arrest by the German army on August 4, 1944, along with other Jews who were in hiding. Fortunately, the people who protected Anne's family and other Jews safeguarded these writings. Anne's mother starved to death in Auschwitz II, Margot fell weak from her bunk, dying from the fall, and Anne died of typhus shortly thereafter, months before Germany lost the war and the Jews were liberated from the concentration camps. Otto Frank was left alone, his entire family and also the friends he made in his hiding place were victims of the Holocaust. Otto fulfilled his daughter's wish to have testimonies of these persecutions, he published the diary in 1947 showing the world the vision of a young woman facing the terror of being captured for being Jewish. This book had an incredible repercussion for being one of the most important testimonies of the Holocaust. In this book Anne shows her real feelings, as she confided her thoughts to "Kitty" as she called her diary. Some details were edited to make the book enjoyable to read based on Anne's real testimonies, releasing several editions of the same diary.
En 1995 se lanzan ediciones en varios idiomas del Diario de Ana Frank, el cual fue llamado en su primera edición al español como "Habitaciones de atrás" dando alusión al lugar donde se escondía Ana, su familia y los demás judíos, luego se le llamó "El Diario de Ana Frank". Al principio del diario Ana narra sus situaciones de niña normal y luego sus miedos de ser encontrada por los nazis, ya que se escondía junto con su familia en los cuartos de atrás de las oficinas de su papá en Ámsterdam, Países Bajos. Es lindo ver sus pequeños momentos de felicidad plasmados en el diario, como los logros de su hermana la cual asistía en un colegio exclusivamente para judíos (por orden de Alemania al invadir Países Bajos), las bromas que le hacían, y las noticias políticas que le daban algo de esperanza. Llegamos a empatizar con ella al describir sus días escondida junto con sus otros compañeros judíos, ya que se veía el contraste de emociones que tenía Ana, al estar muy asustada pero a la vez tranquila cuando sus amigos la hacían reír. Saber que pocos días después del último día que escribió en su diario fue capturada por los nazis y que moriría por las torturas, hambre y víctima de una enfermedad que rondaba por el campo producido por la muy poca higiene en las que tenían a los judíos es algo que nos llega a todos al corazón.
In 1995 the world was presented with several language editions of the Diary of Anne Frank, which was called in its first edition in Spanish as "Habitaciones de atrás" (Back Rooms), alluding to the place where Anne, her family and the other Jews were hiding, later it was called "The Diary of Anne Frank". At the beginning of the diary Anne narrates her situations as a normal child and then her fears of being found by the Nazis, as she hid with her family in the back rooms of her father's offices in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is nice to see her little moments of happiness captured in the diary, such as the achievements of her sister who attended an all-Jewish school (by order of Germany when it invaded the Netherlands), the jokes they played on her, and the political news that gave her some hope. We came to empathize with her as she described her days in hiding with her other Jewish classmates, as we saw the contrast of emotions Anne had, being very frightened yet calm when her friends made her laugh. Knowing that a few days after the last day she wrote in her diary she was captured by the Nazis and that she would die from torture, starvation and a disease that was rampant in the camp due to the very poor hygiene in which the Jews were kept is something that touches everyone's heart.
Es un testimonio del miedo que tenían los judíos en Europa al ser capturados por las Fuerzas Armadas de Hitler. La Segunda Guerra Mundial acabó la vida de más de 50 millones de personas sin contar las que jamás aparecieron ni se supo de su paradero, en la que se incluían civiles que eran asesinados por motivos raciales o por ser judíos, y también una gran pérdida militar para muchos países, sobre todo la Unión Soviética, Polonia, China y por supuesto, la misma Alemania. La Segunda Guerra Mundial es un motivo de estudio en casi todas las áreas del conocimiento, como Economía, Politología, Geografía y por supuesto Historia. Recopilar testimonios como este es importante para dar a conocer un hecho que cambió la historia de la humanidad en su momento y testificación de una niña que vivió su pre-adolescencia en el miedo constante de ser atrapada por sus creencias es algo que llega mucho a nuestros corazones, estoy segura que la pequeña Ana estaría feliz de que sus palabras han llegado a muchas partes de la humanidad como método para entender los horrores que vivió su gente y que empatizaran con las personas que sufrieron todo esto. Espero que no llegue a pasar algo igual más nunca en la historia humana.
It is a testimony of the fear that the Jews in Europe had when they were captured by Hitler's Armed Forces. The Second World War ended the lives of more than 50 million people without counting those who never appeared or were never known of their whereabouts, which included civilians who were killed for racial reasons or for being Jews, and also a great military loss for many countries, especially the Soviet Union, Poland, China and of course, Germany itself. The Second World War is a subject of study in almost all areas of knowledge, such as Economics, Political Science, Geography and of course History. Gathering testimonies like this one is important to make known an event that changed the history of humanity at the time and the testimony of a girl who lived her pre-adolescence in constant fear of being trapped by her beliefs is something that touches our hearts, I am sure that little Ana would be happy that her words have reached many parts of humanity as a method to understand the horrors that her people lived and to empathize with the people who suffered all this. I hope that nothing like this will ever happen again in human history.

Me gustaría saber si han leído el libro y cual es su opinión acerca de éste, ya que me parece peculiar que sea un testimonio de los días que Ana estuvo escondida para intentar salvar su vida junto a su familia y amigos. Si no leyeron el libro se los recomiendo muchísimo! Vale mucho la pena. Las historias sobre la Segunda Guerra Mundial me parecen interesantes e importantes de conocer ya que este período cumplió un rol muy importante en el curso de la historia humana. I hope you liked this post. I would like to know if you have read the book and what is your opinion about it, since I find it peculiar that it is a testimony of the days that Ana was hiding to try to save her life with her family and friends. If you haven't read the book I highly recommend it! It is very worthwhile. I find the stories about the Second World War interesting and important to know because this period played a very important role in the course of human history. I would like to talk about it in future posts.
