Hello Hive Book Club community!!! This is my first review of a book I've recently read, and taking advantage of the fact that it's book day I wanted to give it a little review and share it with you.
You see the saga I'm talking about is: The Devil's Horde (no devils come out and it's not a religious thing hahaha) a saga of adventures in the style of the Witcher, created by Antonio Martin Morales a Spanish writer, which follows the adventures of Remo a soldier to which life has not treated him in the best way.

Synopsis
"Adventure novel starring a hero, Remus, who has fallen from grace after suffering the betrayal of his greatest enemy. As a soldier, he will be mixed up in the power struggles of his kingdom, Vestigia. And as an outlaw mercenary, he will enlist in a strange adventure to kill Moga, a powerful necromancer against the king. During the mission, the wounds of his past will come to light. He will then be able to prove his courage, aided by a secret magic talisman."
Analysis
Normally I am a person who loves adventure books, so this was a saga which was recommended to me by a very close friend and it took me a long time to start reading, but soon after I started reading it I realized that it felt like a video game narrated in a novel, our protagonist is a man named oar which is a soldier or rather a former soldier of the nation of vestigia which has lost everything and during the time he has spent wandering wandering around his nation, ends up becoming a bounty hunter to survive, during a contract is reunited with old acquaintances and other bounty hunters who have the same goal to eliminate the necromancer named Moga who has been terrorizing a town on the outskirts of the city, with this premise begins the whole adventure of this saga.
Our protagonist is a man of few words so as this book called hunting the necromancer progresses, we are told a little about his past, how was his training, who were his closest friends and who was the love of his life, all while the main story develops in which Remo tries by all means to eliminate this necromancer who has terrorized the local people and also seems to have supernatural powers granted by the gods themselves.
There are also other characters which have a certain amount of development during the work, among which we have Sala, an assassin who is among the bounty hunters sent to eliminate Moga and also Lorkun a close friend of rowing which has become a kind of priest, but in his past was an incredible soldier.
All of them make us connect with their experiences and situations as they each show themselvestotally human, with fears, doubts and grudges.

It should also be noted that in this book there is a lot of fantasy, as we move forward in the story we realize that the gods of this saga (although at the beginning nothing is said about them) are very important in the course of the work, because in one way or another they are the ones who have unleashed many events that affect mortals.
For now I'm on the third book of a total of 5, in the first three although the narrative is quite simple is full of action and tense moments in which our protagonist and his friends do not know how to get out of certain situations and even moments in which in quotation marks the supposed do not know how to get out of certain situations and even moments in which the "villain" on duty makes us think about how difficult it is to defeat him, both symbolically and strategically, which is something very important for the narrative and suspense.

Without anything else to tell you, not to tell you the whole story, because it is very direct and it would not have much science to reveal everything the book has to offer, I hope that if you like adventure stories and a fantastic world while developing Game of Thrones style events, this is your saga!

¡¡Hola comunidad de Hive Book Club!! Está es mi primera reseña de un libro que he leído hace poco, y aprovechando que es el día del libro quise hacerle una pequeña reseña y compartirla con ustedes.
Verán de la saga de la que les estoy hablando es: La Horda del Diablo (no salen diablos y no es algo religioso jajaja) una saga de aventuras al estilo the Witcher, creada por Antonio Martín Morales un escritor español, la cual sigue las aventuras de Remo un soldado al cual la vida no lo ha tratado de la mejor manera.

Podrá entonces demostrar su valentía, ayudado por un talismán mágico secreto”
Análisis
Normalmente soy una persona que le encantan los libros de aventura, así que esta fue una saga la cual me la recomendó un amigo muy cercano y tardé mucho en empezar a leer, pero al poco de haber empezado a leerla me di cuenta de que se sentía como si fuera un videojuego narrado en una novela, nuestro protagonista es un hombre llamado remo el cual es un soldado o mejor dicho un ex soldado de la nación de vestigia el cual lo ha perdido todo y durante el tiempo que ha pasado vagando errante por su nación, termina convirtiéndose en un cazarrecompensas para poder sobrevivir, durante un contrato se reencuentra con viejos conocidos y otros cazarrecompensas los cuales tienen un mismo objetivo eliminar al nigromante llamado Moga que ha estado aterrorizando a un pueblo de las afueras de la ciudad, con esta premisa comienza toda la aventura de esta saga.
Nuestro protagonista es un hombre de pocas palabras así que conforme va avanzando este libro llamado a la caza del nigromante, nos van contando un poco sobre su pasado cómo fue su entrenamiento quiénes eran sus amigos más cercanos y quién fue el amor de su vida, todo a la par que se desarrolla la historia principal en la cual Remo intenta por todos los medios eliminar este nigromante que ha aterrorizado a los pobladores locales y también parece ser que tiene poderes sobrenaturales otorgados por los mismísimos dioses.
También hay otros personajes los cuales tienen cierta cantidad de desarrollo durante la obra, entre los cuales tenemos a Sala, una asesina que se haya entre los cazarrecompensas que enviaron a eliminar a Moga y también a Lorkun un amigo cercano a remo el cual se ha convertido en una especie de sacerdote, pero en su pasado fue un soldado increíble.
Todos ellos nos hacen conectar con sus experiencias y situaciones pues cada uno se muestran sumamente humanos, con miedos, dudas y rencores.

También hay que destacar que en este libro hay mucha fantasía, conforme vamos avanzando en la historia nos damos cuenta de que los dioses de esta saga(si bien al principio nada se habla de ellos) tienen mucha importancia en el transcurso de la obra, pues de alguna u otra manera son ellos los que han desatado muchos sucesos que repercuten en los mortales.
Por ahora voy por el tercer libro de un total de 5, en los primeros tres si bien la narración es bastante sencilla está cargada de acción y de momentos tensos en los cuales nuestro protagonista y sus amigos no saben cómo salir de ciertas situaciones e inclusive momentos en el que entre comillas el supuesto no saben cómo salir de ciertas situaciones e inclusive momentos en el que el “villano” de turno nos hace pensar en lo difícil que es poder derrotarlo, tanto de manera simbólica como estratégicamente, lo cual es algo muy importante para la narrativa y el suspenso.

Sin nada más que decirles, para no contarles toda la historia, pues es muy directa y no tendría mucha ciencia revelar todo lo que el libro tiene que ofrecer, espero que si les gusta las historias de aventura y un mundo fantástico a la vez que se desarrollan eventos al estilo Game of Thrones, esta es su saga!
