Tenía muchas ganas de hacer esta iniciativa creada por; @littlegremlin pero por alguna u otra razón la terminaba postergando y dándole cada vez más largas. Hoy decidí que quería hacerla y compartir con ustedes tres libros que me fascinaron y que recomiendo encarecidamente.
Disfruto leer desde pequeño, muchos han sido libros que han marcado mi corto tiempo de vida; algunos los he releído y la verdad envejecieron muy mal o quizás yo he cambiado y ahora pienso muy diferente. Otros me han fascinado aún más con el paso del tiempo y los años y cada vez que los leo nuevamente consigo cosas nuevas en ellos.
la verdad no sé si tenga un libro favorito, pero trataré de ser justo conmigo mismo y colocar los libros que más me han fascinado y cautivado hasta la fecha y es que la verdad no han sido pocos.
I really wanted to do this initiative created by @littlegremlin but for some reason or another I kept putting it off and giving it more and more time. Today I decided I wanted to do it and share with you three books that fascinated me and that I highly recommend.
I have enjoyed reading since I was a child, many have been books that have marked my short time of life; some I have reread and the truth is that they have aged very badly or maybe I have changed and now I think very differently. Others have fascinated me even more with the passing of time and years and every time I read them again I get new things from them.
I really don't know if I have a favorite book, but I will try to be fair with myself and place the books that have fascinated and captivated me the most up to date, and the truth is that they have not been few.
El Perfume de Patrick Süskind | The Perfume by Patrick Süskind
Esta novela fue una de las primeras novelas de misterio que leí y creo que fue esta la razón por la cual se me quedó tan grabada, quizás porque aún era joven. Sin embargo, me encantó, más que todo por la forma en la que está escrita con esa atmosfera que el autor nos enseña, describiendo todo a través del olfato de Grenouille.
También fue uno de los primeros libros en darme cierta "perspectiva" de las cosas, pues de niño Paris en mi mente se veía como una ciudad hermosa (que seguramente lo es) pero para mí siempre fue de esas ciudades que fueron siempre hermosas durante toda la vida, el autor nos describe la ciudad como un lugar nauseabundo, apestoso y lleno de alimañas.
Casi nada se nos describe de forma visual, sino más bien "olfativa", los lugares no tienen tanto color, sino más bien "aromas" y creo que (cuando lo leí) me pareció increíble la manera en la que todo estaba escrito y contado además del tono de la historia que se quedó marcado en mí.
This novel was one of the first mystery novels I read and I think this is why it stuck with me, perhaps because I was still young. However, I loved it, mostly because of the way it is written with that atmosphere that the author teaches us, describing everything through Grenouille's sense of smell.
It was also one of the first books to give me a certain "perspective" of things, because as a child Paris in my mind was seen as a beautiful city (which it surely is) but for me it was always one of those cities that were always beautiful throughout life, the author describes the city as a nauseating place, stinking and full of vermin.
Almost nothing is described in a visual way, but rather "olfactory", the places do not have so much color, but rather "aromas" and I think that (when I read it) I found it incredible the way everything was written and told in addition to the tone of the story that stayed with me.

Jaime Ballestas o mejor conocido por su seudónimo de escritor; Otrova Gomas, un juego de palabras que en ingles tendrían el significado de Another Bum es uno de mis escritores venezolanos favoritos y su libro "El Terrorista" una pequeña novela que narra las aventuras de un loco irreverente, es increíblemente divertida.
No recuerdo haber reído tanto con un libro como lo hice con este, lastimosamente creo que no existen traducciones de este libro al inglés y tampoco es muy conocido dentro de su misma lengua, sin embargo, si logras encontrarlo por algún rincón de alguna librería te recomienda será una lectura que te hará reír muchísimo.
Es un libro de sátira, su humor es bastante absurdo y a veces raya en los surreal, con unas bastante discretas criticas al estatus establecido y a muchas maneras de control de los gobiernos.
Jaime Ballestas or better known by his pen name; Otrova Gomas, a play on words that in English would have the meaning of Another Bum is one of my favorite Venezuelan writers and his book "El Terrorista" a short novel that narrates the adventures of an irreverent madman, is incredibly funny.
I don't remember having laughed so much with a book as I did with this one, unfortunately I think there are no translations of this book into English and it is not well known in its own language, however, if you manage to find it in some corner of a bookstore it will be a great read that will make you laugh a lot.
It is a book of satire, its humor is quite absurd and sometimes bordering on the surreal, with a fairly discreet criticism of the established status and many ways of government control.

El libro que me hizo amar las literatura de fantasía y me hizo adentrarme en universo como los de Harry Potter o las Crónicas de Narnia (este último no me gustó tanto como esperaba) .
Creo que de todos los libros que he leído a este le guardó un cariño especial; no lo leí por mi cuenta, mi abuelo me lo leyó la primera vez y ya un poco más grande me aventuré entre sus páginas y en los volúmenes siguientes por cuenta propia, en parte también gracias a la película dirigida por Peter Jackson.
Es una historia de aventuras y desventuras, en la que se habla de grandes misterios, misterios que me impulsaron a querer saber más sobre su mundo. Quizás no sea el mejor libro que exista, pero para mí es súper importante y fue una parte simbólica en mi vida.
Este libro nos narra la historia de Frodo Bolsón y su travesía recorriendo la Tierra Media llevando consigo un artefacto que definirá el destino de todos los seres que habitan en aquella tierra. La narración puede resultar pesada para muchos, pero a mí me gustó como estaba escrito y la forma tan descriptiva en la que se cuentan los hechos y se habla de las tierras, es casi como estar en aquel lugar y verlo con tus propios ojos. De mi libro favorito de toda la vida...
The book that made me love fantasy literature and made me get into the universe of Harry Potter or the Chronicles of Narnia (I didn't like the latter as much as I expected).
I think that of all the books I have read, I have a special affection for this one; I didn't read it on my own, my grandfather read it to me the first time and when I was a little older I ventured through its pages and the following volumes on my own, partly thanks to the movie directed by Peter Jackson.
It is a story of adventures and misadventures, in which there are great mysteries, mysteries that made me want to know more about his world. It may not be the best book out there but for me it is super important and was a symbolic part of my life.
This book tells the story of Frodo Baggins and his journey through Middle-earth carrying an artifact that will define the fate of all beings living in that land. The narration may be heavy for many but I liked the way it was written and the descriptive way in which the facts are told and the lands are talked about, it is almost like being in that place and seeing it with your own eyes. One of my all time favorite books....

The author does have a peculiar description of Paris. A place I've always seen as heaven on earth being characterized as hell is surely one to read.
