SourceHonestamente, Evangeline me pareció un poco... tonta. Todo lo que le pasa es por no pensar bien, y está tan obsesionada con la idea del amor que se mete en problemas por todos lados.
Y Jacks... ay, Jacks. No sé, no me termina de convencer. Es divertido y me hizo reír, pero al mismo tiempo es súper manipulador y arrogante. No es que sea un personaje malo, pero no conecté mucho con él.
Honestly, I thought Evangeline was a little... silly. Everything that happens to her is because she doesn't think things through, and she's so obsessed with the idea of love that she gets herself into trouble everywhere she goes.
And Jacks... oh, Jacks. I don't know, I'm not convinced. He's funny and made me laugh, but at the same time he's super manipulative and arrogant. It's not that he's a bad character, but I didn't connect with him very much.
Entre Evangeline y Jacks no hay un romance como tal, es más una tensión. Esas pocas acciones buenas que vi me confundieron, porque él la necesita para algo que seguro se verá en el segundo libro. Siento que esta primera parte es solo el inicio, el preludio de algo mucho más grande. La fantasía me gustó un montón, y me dejó con ganas de más.
There isn't really a romance between Evangeline and Jacks, it's more of a tension. Those few good deeds I saw confused me, because he needs her for something that will surely be revealed in the second book. I feel like this first part is just the beginning, the prelude to something much bigger. I really liked the fantasy, and it left me wanting more.

STOPA veces me desespera cuando los personajes principales tienen actitudes castrantes, como si no avanzaran a ningún lado y por ende no puedes conectar con ellos, tal vez por eso nunca me ha llamado la atención este tipo de novelas.
