Leer es uno de mis hobbies favoritos y opinar sobre lo que leo podría decir que es mi segundo hobbie favorito hahah así que sin más preámbulo, comencemos.

Reading is one of my favorite hobbies and giving my opinion about what I read I could say it's my second favorite hobby hahah so without further ado, let's get started.

Let's see, I decided to read it because I like monarchist readings and I said, this is clearly a monarchist book I must read it!

La Reina Roja es el primero de una saga de 5 libros escritos por Victoria Aveyard (En este post estaré hablando del primero y del segundo libro SIN spoilers)
The Red Queen is the first of a 5 book saga written by Victoria Aveyard (In this post I will be talking about the first and second book WITHOUT spoilers).
La premisa va de una chica llamada Mare Barrow que vive en un mundo que está dividido por las personas de sangre roja, como ella, y las de sangre plateada, en este mundo las personas de sangra plateada son superiores porque tienen poderes o cualidades especiales mientras que los rojos son simples humanos normales. Estos plateados viven en la riqueza y en un mundo lleno de lujos y vanidades mientras que los rojos viven sumidos en la pobreza, hasta que un día, una roja, la protagonista, se encuentra con que tiene poderes y termina estando muy cerca de la corona, inmiscuida en una serie de problemas políticos, de poder, traición entre otras, para tratar de liberar a los rojos de todo lo malo por lo que están pasando.
The premise is about a girl named Mare Barrow who lives in a world that is divided by people of red blood, like her, and those of silver blood, in this world the people of silver blood are superior because they have powers or special qualities while the reds are just normal humans. These silver ones live in wealth and in a world full of luxuries and vanities while the red ones live in poverty, until one day, a red one, the main character, finds that she has powers and ends up being very close to the crown, involved in a series of political problems, power, betrayal, among others, to try to free the red ones from all the bad things they are going through.
Mare es una ladrona que un día intentando ahorrar para salvar a su amigo de ser enviado a la guerra y morir decide robar para conseguir la cantidad que necesita para salvarlo, un día se encuentra con un tipo misterioso e intenta robarle pero este se da cuenta y termina por darle una moneda, al día siguiente es llamada para trabajar como sirviente para los plateados. Y en un evento en frente de todos se descubre que tiene poderes y hay todo un lío político y amoroso porque los dos príncipes Cal Calore y Maven Calore terminan teniendo intenciones amorosas con ella pero no todo es lo que parece.
Mare is a thief who one day trying to save to save her friend from being sent to war and die decides to steal to get the amount she needs to save him, one day she meets a mysterious guy and tries to rob him but he realizes and ends up giving her a coin, the next day she is called to work as a servant for the silver ones. And in an event in front of everyone it is discovered that she has powers and there is a whole political and love mess because the two princes Cal Calore and Maven Calore end up having amorous intentions with her but not everything is what it seems.
A veeeerr, yo creo que con esa primicia si eres fan de los libros monárquicos dices ¡Si, yo quiero! PERO siempre hay un pero y aquí es donde va mi opinión, mi review, mi toxicidad y mi crítica hacia los libros así ess.
Let's see, I think with that scoop if you are a fan of monarchical books you say Yes, I want! BUT there is always a but and this is where my opinion, my review, my toxicity and my criticism towards the books so is.
El libro no es malo, es bueno, de hecho, me gustó pero no me encantó, comenzando porque la protagonista no para de parecerme tonta durante tooodo el libro, siento que sus decisiones y pensamientos son muy absurdos teniendo en cuenta todo lo que está pasando y sinceramente me estresaba un poco eso, sentía que ya quería que ella dejara de narrar diosmio stopp.
The book is not bad, it's good, in fact, I liked it but I didn't love it, starting because the main character doesn't stop looking silly to me during the whole book, I feel that her decisions and thoughts are very absurd considering everything that is going on and honestly I was a little stressed about that, I felt like I already wanted her to stop narrating, god stop.
Ya adentrandonos un poco más en el libro, es interesante ver todo el juego de poder que existe en este mundo y a la vez ver como se va formando una revolución que va mucho más allá de una chica roja con poderes. Así como el especial énfasis en que todos te pueden traicionar y es una frase que se repite mucho, tanto en el primer libro como en el segundo.
Going a little deeper into the book, it is interesting to see all the power play that exists in this world and at the same time see how a revolution is forming that goes far beyond a red girl with powers. As well as the special emphasis that everyone can betray you and is a phrase that is repeated a lot, both in the first book and in the second.
Llega un punto en el que ya leíste tantas veces que todo el mundo puede traicionarte que cansa, la lectura se vuelve pesada, la escritora no para de recordar una y otra y otra vez que ella ahora es una chica con poderes y que probablemente sea una de las más poderosas y bla bla bla bla, se torna ESTRESANTE, por no decir HORRIBLE de leer.
It gets to a point where you've already read so many times that everyone can betray you that it gets tiring, the reading becomes tiresome, the writer keeps reminding you over and over and over again that she is now a girl with powers and is probably one of the most powerful and blah blah blah blah blah, it becomes STRESSFUL, not to say HORRIBLE to read.
Siento que hubiese podido hacer los libros menos infinitos (porque son larguísimos) resumiendo muchas cosas o parando de repetir ciertas cosas tantas veces, con que lo hubiese leído tres veces lo capto y aún así es mucho pero es que dice la misma cosa como 40 veces.
I feel that I could have made the books less infinite (because they are very long) by summarizing many things or stopping repeating certain things so many times, if I had read it three times I could understand it and it is still a lot but it says the same thing about forty times.
El primer libro:
Me gustó mucho la trama de la historia y se me hizo que podía ser llevado a algo muy bueno y grande, sin embargo, es una lectura lenta y desesperante, lo leí en una semana, pude haberlo leído más rápido pero no me enganchaba, lo más atractivo del libro no era Mare Barrow sino Maven y Cal y el descubrir que se traman entre manos, lo cual sinceramente yo lo vi obvio, no me pareció una sorpresa o algo que yo dijera 'wao, no me lo esperaba' si, me esperaba todo.
The first book:
I really liked the plot of the story and it felt like it could be taken to something really good and great, however, it is a slow and hopeless read, I read it in a week, I could have read it faster but it didn't hook me, the most appealing thing about the book was not Mare Barrow but Maven and Cal and finding out what they are up to, which honestly I saw as obvious, it didn't feel like a surprise or something that I said 'wao, I didn't expect that' yes, I expected everything.
Lamentablemente no creo terminar esta saga, lo intenté la protagonista me cae un poco demasiado mal, quizá sea controversial porque es un libro querido en la comunidad lectora, estoy en busqueda del libro de fantasia perfecto.
Unfortunately, I don't think I'll finish this series. I tried, but I dislike the main character a little too much. Perhaps it's controversial because it's a beloved book in the reading community, but I'm still searching for the perfect fantasy book.
