Hello, to all the Bookworms in this community! Today I come to talk positively about a book I read earlier this year, but had to come and share with you. I have a lot of sagas started and many unfinished, but not to get out of the habit, I had to add one, which I not only started, but it's barely two books in, and I'm only one book in. I wanted to read it to ride the wave of hype created by the book, and I must tell you and confirm that I am very happy to have ventured into reading a good book. It is Fourth Wings, by Rebecca Yarros, which is the first book in The Empyrean saga.

¡Hola, a todos los Bookworms de esta comunidad! Hoy vengo a hablar positivamente de un libro que leí a principios de año, pero que tenía que venir a compartir con ustedes. Tengo un montón de sagas empezadas y muchas sin terminar, pero para no perder la costumbre, tenía que añadir una, que no solo empecé, sino que apenas lleva dos libros y solo llevo uno. Quería leerlo para montarme en la ola del hype creado por el libro, y debo decirles y confirmar que estoy muy feliz de haberme aventurado a leer un buen libro. Se trata de Alas de Sangre, de Rebecca Yarros, que es el primer libro de la saga The Empyrean.
Fourth Wing
Violet Sorrengail has just entered an academy that she was preparing for all her life, to be a scribe and go for that wing. But six months before, her mother and commanding general decided that Violet should be a dragon rider. She has an uphill job, because besides having a very small body, she is very fragile, literally her bones break into pieces very easily. And she has another thing against her: many people want to kill her.
Besides being a Dark Academia story (which I love), of someone who, although obviously born with privileges, also has a lot of things against her, like her weak body. This story is very well told, gripping, has obviously a lot of romance, and very for my taste, at least in this volume, very few racy scenes. But what I loved most about the whole adventure, besides the excellently written characters that you either love or hate (or vice versa), is that THERE ARE DRAGONS! Hundreds of dragons, everywhere, and obviously Violet will get one, which I won't name or give away what it is so as not to make spoilers.

Violet Sorrengail acaba de entrar en una academia para la que se estuvo preparando toda su vida, para ser una escriba e ir por esa ala, pero seis meses antes, su madre y comandante general decidió que Violet debía ser una jinete de dragón. Ella tiene un trabajo cuesta arribo, porque además de tener un cuerpo muy pequeño, es muy frágil, literalmente sus huesos se parten en pedazos con mucha facilidad. Y tiene otra cosa bastante en contra: mucha gente la quiere asesinar.
Además de ser una historia de Dark Academia (cosa que amo), de alguien que aunque obviamente nació con privilegios, también tiene muchas cosas en contra, como la de su débil cuerpo. Esta historia está muy bien contada, es atrapante, tiene obviamente mucho romance, y muy para mi gusto, al menos en este tomo, muy pocas escenas picantes. Pero lo que más amé de toda la aventura, además de los personajes excelentemente escritos y que amas u odias (o viceversa), es que ¡HAY DRAGONES! Cientos de dragones, por todos lados, y obviamente a Violet le tocará uno, que no voy a nombrar ni dar señales de qué se trata para no hacer spoilers.
All in all, it is an excellent story. I would love to detail each of the characters, but this is a novel you must read to fall in love on your own and get a sense of who is who.
If you love fantasy books that involve an academy, magic, dragons and romance, I assure you that you won't regret it. I'm just waiting for the Kindle version of the new installment called Wings of Iron to be released, so I can indulge in my new literary love. Did you already know about this book? Have you read it?

En definitiva, es una excelente historia. Me encantaría detallar cada uno de los personajes, pero esta es una novela que debes leer para que te vayas enamorando tú por tu cuenta y para que vayas haciéndote a la idea de quién es quién.
Si amas los libros de fantasía, que involucra una academia, magia, dragones y romance, te aseguro que no te vas a arrepentir. Yo solo estoy esperando que lancen la versión Kindle de la nueva entrega llamada Alas de Hierro, para poder deleitarme con mi nuevo amor literario. ¿Ya conocían este libro? ¿Lo leyeron?
