Being good parents is an art.
Being parents of really happy kids is a top of arts.
Many people think if a child has food, drinks, clothes and a bed - he is already happy. But parenthood is much deeper than just covering basic neccessities.
I started to give attention to this theme when my kid was about 3. When he was younger, I was too concentrated on his basic needs - sleep, food, walking. Later I understood it's not enough, and our understanding of each other is a separate science. I read many articles about upbringing, but This man and This book touched me the most.
Karpachev Dmitriy is a well-known psychologist, and I deeply respect him for his honesty and ability always tells the truth even if it's not pleasant and easy.
His book has become very special for me because it opens parents; eyes fast and easy.
Its title - "How to give everyhting to your kid without money"
And the book isn't just reading, it's a real guide and even exercise-book where parents really study how to be good parents and understand their kids.
The author asks to read just 1 part of the book for 7 days to have time to understand and remember all advice. He gives exercises for parents to practice new skills, and the main - he really opens eyes for simple but unvisible things.
The book has more than 250 pages, and each of them is useful.
But the main point that is absolutely brilliant is that your kid is YOUR reflection. He can't be bad just because he is bad, he can differ from your expectations but only because if you, your wrong attitude and relations with him.
A kid come to this world like a sheet of white paper, and 50% of him is environment, and 50% is parents and their relations, and the first years of a kid and his development depends completely from parents, 100% from his family.
If a 3-year old boy doesn't listen to you, it's not because he is bad, YOU make something wrong, not him! And it's absolutely stupid to punish a poor kid for his wrong deeds, just look at the mirror - here is the person who is guilty in your kids' mistakes.
And the 2nd main theme of this book is how to love your kid Right. How to make this love understandable and clear for him. It's much deeper than we all are used to think.
The criterion that can be used to determine whether your love goes to your child's heart is very simple:
- you feel care of your child - it means that he feels you care about him, and he can give it care back to you
- your kid is attentive to your feelings and experiences;
- he responds adequately to your requests;
- he hugs you often and easily - it means that he is filled with your love and care and is ready to return it to you.
I am happy for now - my boy covers all the rules;) And this book is a perfect adviser for all parents.

мой случай не книжный, но я бы почитал все равно,
хоть какую то пользу наверняка извлечь можно.
и, разреши дать тебе совет. в соо сейчас проводится конкурс "рецензия на книгу". посмотри ост с инструкциями, там нужно тег поставить и может что-то еще. и у тебя сразу появится шанс заработать еще 15-30 хайвов. плохо что ли? здорово, вообще, осд это соо тоже берет под своё крыло! поздравляю с отличным успешным зачином.
