Every line is a reflection of those doubts that come to all of our minds at some point or the other, but we ignore them or bury them in the shallow optimism of social media.

Peter Thiel's points are always thought provoking but the linkage you made between car price and stationarity seemed very relatable. There was a time when technology meant rockets nuclear breakthroughs space missions and today only faster processors and better cameras have become innovation.
