We moved to a place where there's a high likelihood of a catastrophic fire event. It's a payoff I suppose because it's an absolute paradise otherwise. We know it may come and that's the risk we take. Haven't noticed any real difference in my insurance because they tend to do a blanket one for the whole area which is pretty big and there hasn't been a fire here for a while.

We have 11 catastrophic floods in Houston in the last 25 years, that I have personally experienced. That is the difference.
